DAY 01: Arrival Manali (2000 m)
Arrive Manali, reporting at Himalayan country
house, After lunch visit Hadimba Temple, Monastery in town, later stroll in
town, O/N in the hotel.
DAY 02: Acclimatization day: Trek 1
Trek to Solang to acclimatize and explore the
culture of valley, after noon back to Manali by local bus, free time and
evening back to hotel.
DAY 03: Manali to Marsu, Saten (2500 m.) 5 hours. Trek

After breakfast
drive to Prini, trek starts through Prini village, ascending to the Saten village
offers a extensive view of the Kullu valley and zigzag path brings you up slowly
to the Khangpa village of Saten, who are migrated from the Spiti in olden time.
One can have a glass of tea in tinny teahouse, which will refresh you. Easy walk
of one hour to the campsite just after the village.
DAY 04: Marsu, Saten to Balu Gyra (3300 m.) 5 hours. Trek

0The trail begins
by flat walking through the forest of Mapple, Silver Fir, Pine and Oak, paved by
the grass and stone and fields of the wild flowers. Twice have to cross the river.
Bank sloping down from the high cliffs all around and ideal location for the end
of the day.
DAY 05: Balu Gyra to
Shea Gahru (3700 m.) over Hamta pass (4200 m.) 5 to 6 hours. Trek 4
0The trail begins to ascend toward
to the mighty Hamta pass, and soon the distant valley of Lahoul/ Spiti comes in to
view. From the pass one can enjoy the view of magnificent Himalayan peaks, Deo
Tibba, Indra Asan, Indra Kila. Landscape is quite different. One hour of descend
to the campsite.
DAY 06: Shea
Gahru to Chhatru (3360 m.) Short day. Trek 5
0The trail descends toward the left bank of the "nalla".
Soon the Chandra river is in view. After 3 hours reached at the beautiful
campsite. Afternoon at leisure.
DAY 07: Chhatru to Chhota Dara (3440 m.) 5 hours. Trek

Easy walk on the
dusty and rough road to the opposite of the Chandra river between C.B range and
Chhota Shigri Range.
DAY 08: Chhota
Dara to Batal (3640 m.) 5 hours. Trek 7
Easy walk, once again on the same dusty road. Right of the trail
opposite of the Chandra river the Bara shigri range offers a magnificent view of
the Lalana, Papsura, Dharamsura (White seal), Shangrila and many other prominent
peaks of the range as well as one of the world longest glacier.
DAY 09: Batal to Chandra Tal (4200 m.) 5 to 6 hours. Trek

One of the most
beautiful trails of the trek offers you a wonderful view of the Chandra valley as
well as the snow carpet-mountains of the C.B range and Mul Kila. Shepherds from
the Kangra valley are with their flocks in the valley.
DAY10: Chandra tal to Manali over Kunzum pass 4700 mtrs-Rohtang
pass-3950 mtrs. Trek 9
Gradual trail to Kunzum pass for 3 to 4 hours, temple located on the top of
the pass is dedicated to the Goddess Kunzum, Pay homage to the goddess,
enjoy the extensive view of surrounding Himalaya, further drive to Manali
over Rohtangpass the gateway between Lahoul and Kullu "valley of the
God" Descending by the snake-curved road through the pasture of wild flowers,
forest of silver Oak, Fir, Popular and by the accompany of cascading waterfalls
till Manali. Evening fare well dinner, O/N in hotel.
DAY 11: Departure:
After breakfast, check out and leave Manali to onward
Destination.
