Day 01: Arrive in Delhi,
Reception in airport, transfer to hotel. night in hotel.
Day 02: Delhi to Rishikesh - 224 KMs.
Drive to Rishikesh, afternoon check in hotel. Explore Rishikesh: “Sanctuary of saint and Sadhu” Rishikesh, situated on the bank of river Ganga and surrounded on three sides by Himalayan ranges is a great pilgrimage centre of India. visit Ancients temple‘s and Ashram. At Trivani Ghat, Evening held “Ganga Arti”, most fascinating ligious ritual in the world grand arti (religios song when pilgrims light a butter lamp with fresh flowers and offering to the Goddess .
DAY 03: Rishikesh to Uttarkashi (1158m) 160 kms.
Pleasant drive through several village to Uttarkashi, on arrival transfer to hotel for overnight stay, evening visit ancients temples and Nehru Institute of Mountaineering.
DAY 04: Uttarkashi to Gangotri (3048M):
Drive 108Km through up-stream to scintillating river Bhagirathi. Winding shady roads swinging conifer trees and beautiful Himalayan hamlets. On arrival check in to the Tourist bungalow, evening visit Temple of Gangotri (Goddess mother Ganges).
Day 05: Gangotri to Lata (1700m) - Belak Khal (2750m) Trek 1
Drive to Latta for 72 kms. once was the pilgrimage route for four sacred shrine, Trail leads through thick forest of Oak, Rhodo, Pine and fir, Reach the Belak with its beautiful meadow is a grazing land thus the summer settlement for the people of the valley, night in camp.
Day 06: Belak Khal to Budhakedar (1530m) in 6h Trek 2
Leave to Budhakedar, Enroute you will be passing by some villages as Pangrana, Jhala & Agund, Budhakedar houses the old temple of Kedar (Shiva). The people lives here are farmers, night in camp.
Day 07: Budhakedar to Baghi Chatti (2600m) in 05h Trek 3
Gradual trail leads via beautiful Benakhal village located on the top of hill with its temple, trail continue through several villages provide the opportunity to explore the life of mountain people, Now steep ascent through forest till the meadow of Baghi Chati, here you enjoy the breath taking view of surrounding Himalaya, night in camp.
Day 08: Bhghi chati to Ghuttu (1600m) in 5h Trek 4
Crossing the farm lands til the top, impressive view of Garhwal range from the top, Enroute visit a sheep and a rabbit farm run by the government, continue trek by road ill Ghuttu, a small village is popular by trekkers and pilgrims flow, night in camp.
Day 09: Ghuttu to Panwali Khanta (3150m) over Khinko La (3500m), Trek 5
Trail ascend till Khinko La (3500m), then descend through a magnificent tropical forest and rice-fields. Till the meadow where will camp for over night, Campsite provides the magnificent panoramic views of the Garhwal Himalayan peaks including Gangotri, Kedarnath, Kedardome, Chaukhamba, Trisul, Kamet, Nanda Devi and many other peaks.
Day 10: Panwali Khanta to Maggu (3050m) - Triuginarain (1990m) in 5h Trek 6
Trek beguin by forest walk, up and down trail some where gradual breathtaking view from the hilly side, Now steep descend to Maggu Ki Chatti, an abandoned village was used by pilgrims in olden days. Again steep descent through thick forest till Triuginarain. village of Triuginarain, as per Hindu mythology, the lord Shiva got married to goddess Parvati, at this place in temple is an important pilgrimage spot for Hindus, night in camp.
Day 11: Triuginarain to Gaurikund - Kedarnath Trek 7
Trek to Road head of Sonprayag, take any vehicle till Gaurikund for next 15 minutes to save the time and avoid the road walk. Now take 14 kms steep Path well defined for 5 hours, Meandering Mandakani rivers flows at your right all along the trail, On the way several tea shops can be seen for selling the food and drinks to pilgrims groups comes from all over the India. A huge temple of Kedarnath in in view overnight in Tourist Rest House. or Camp.
Day 12: Kedarnath/Gaurikund/Chopta (2500m): Trek and Drive Trek 8
Trek back to Gaurikund, drive 74 km to the Chopta, the beautiful Himalayan meadows surrounded by green lush forest, overnight at camp.
Day 13: Chopta/Badrinath (3096m): 147 KMS via Joshimath Drive.
Scenic drive to Joshimath (Jyotrimath), winter seat of the Rawal Sahib of the Badrinath shrine and important place for the trekkers leads their expeditions to the various routes, short drive on the foot of nanda devi sanctuary, visit soe of holi places before reaching to Badrinath.
Badri or Badri Vishal, giving rise to the resound chant of the devotees as they approach to the shrine ‘jai Badri Vishal ki ‘After visiting the temple stroll in the bazzar to feel the ambiance of colorful pilgrims crowd at the beneath of snowcaped peak of Neel Kanth ( 6957m ), later visit to Narad Kund, hot spring water known as Tapta Kund ). Night in hotel.
Day 14: Badrinath - Mana (Trek to Vashudhara water fall)
Leave to Mana village: Known in Hindu scriptures also as Manibhadrashram and manibhadrapuram. Situated 3 kms north of the main shrine of Badrinath. This last Indian village on Indo - Tibet border is peopled with the Himalayan semi- nomads who form a small group. From here one path leads to Kailash the celestial abode of Shiva. The people are poor and backward, are known as the Marchyas and have lost their traditional ties with/Tibet without gaining any bstitute.
Trek to Vasudhara falls: 5 kms trek one way with backdrop of snowy mountains and glaciers set in the rocky height, it is 122 meters high is indeed a captivating sight As the torrents of the water come tumbling down, they are caught by the wind and diffused in fine showers and soft mist. Close to the falls is series of named and unnamed peaks as Chaukhambha, Satopanth and BAlkun etc. One can see the vast moraines and Alkapuri glaciers and also the glacial outs from where Alakanda emerges, back to Badrinath, night in hotel/Lodge.
Day 15: Badrinath to Haridwar 230 kms. 7-8 hours
Same way back till half of the way, further via dev Pariyag where confluence of Alakananda and Bhagirathi forms Gange, continue by valley of Gange till the Haridwar.
Haridwar - Haridwar (literally means gate way to God) Town stands on the right bank of the Ganges at the foot of Shivalik mountain. It has been sacred place from time immemorial and is one of the most important pilgrimage on the Ganges, It is one of the four pilgrim centres (other’s are Prayag, Ujjain and Nassik) where Kumbha is held every twelve year. According to mythologicaly belief Millions of Hindu takes holy dip in the sacred river Ganges, seeking emencipation from the worldly sins, meditation or worship at Har ki pauri which is one of the most fascinating religious ritual in the world, grand arti (religios song) on the Ghat of the Ganga when charges with the emotion, the air resound with the music and chant offerd as worship of Lord. By evening. Piligrim flots hundered of little flower’s bowls in the river with oil lamps and same time visit the Daksha Mahadevi temple, night in hotel
Day 16: Haridwar - Delhi 240 km - 6 hours. by train. Morning train to Delhi. Check in hotel, half day visit to Red fort, Jama masjid, Shanti van and rest time free, evening transfer to international airport, flight to onward.
