DAY 01: Arrived Delhi,
Transfer to hotel
DAY 02: Delhi -Guwahati-Tezpur
Arrival in Kolkotta or Delhi, Flight to Gauhatti, Assistance on arrival and drive to Tezpur (190 km). Check into Hotel Luit. Overnight Tezpur.
DAY 03: Tezpur-Bomdila (2530 meter)
Morning drive to Bomdila (160 km). Enroute visit Tipi Orchidarium, a glass house with over 7500 Orchids. Post lunch visit Buddhist Monastery. Overnight Siphiyang Phong Hotel, Bomdila.
DAY 04: Bomdila-Tawang (3750mtrs.)
Morning drive to Tawang (190 km). Tawang, the major center of the Mahayana Buddhists is standing on the spur of a hill at an altitude of 12000 ft. above sea level. On the way to Tawang lies the world's second highest pass - the Sela Pass (14000 feet) that runs through a small ridge and along a placid Lake called the Paradise Lake. Overnight Nefa Hotel OR Tourist Lodge, Tawang.
DAY 05: Tawang
Full day at Tawang visiting more than 350 years old monastery (locally called Gompa) and it is considered to be the second largest monastery in the world. Post lunch visit to Brandung Chung Ani Gompa, the monastery of the nuns. The Monastery is 12 km on the North West of Tawang. Overnight Tawang.
DAY 06: Tawang-Nameri
Morning drive to Nameri enroute visits Craft Centre at Bomdila. Overnight Eco Camp, Nameri.
DAY 07: Nameri-Itanagar
Morning drive to Itanagar (260 km) the state capital. If time permits evening visit State Emporium. Overnight Hotel Donyi Polo Ashok, Itanagar.
DAY 08: Itanagar-Ziro
Morning visit State Museum. Have early lunch and drive to Ziro (150 km) enroute visit Nishi villages. Ziro at an altitude of 5754 feet is almost a level valley enclosed on all sides by pine-clad low stooping hills. This is called Apatani Plateau and is famous for Paddy-cum-Fish culture. Post lunch visit the Apatani Tribal villages. Overnight Blue Pine Hotel, Ziro.
DAY 09: Ziro-Daporijo
Morning drive to Daporijo (160 km) and visit Hill Miri Tribal villages on the way. Post lunch visit the Tagin Tribal village, if time permits. Overnight PWD Inspection Bunglow, Dumporijo.
DAY 10: Daporijo-Pasighat
Morning drive to Pasighat enroute visits Adi (Galong) Tribal villages. Post lunch visit Adi (Minyong, Pasi etc) Tribal villages. Overnight Circuit House, Pasighat.
DAY 11: Pasighat-Roing
Early morning drive to Roing enroute visit Idu Mishmi and Adi (Padam) Tribal villages at Aohali and cross-river Siang (Brahmaputra) by Ferry to reach Roing. Evening at leisure. Overnight Circuit House, Roing.
DAY 12: Roing-Tezu.
Morning drive to Tezu enroute visit Adi (Padam) village. Post lunch visit Digaru Mishmi Tribal villages. Overnight Circuit House, Tezu.
DAY 13: Tezu-Namsai
Morning drive to Namsai visiting Brahmakund enroute visits Buddhist Temple, the villages of Khamti Tribes. Khamti is the only tribe in the state, which has got a written script, and they are one of the most advance tribal communities in Arunachal Pradesh. They follow the Mahayana sect of Buddhism. Overnight Circuit House, Namsai.
DAY 14: Namsai-Miao-Namdapha
Morning drive to Miao via Mahadevpur and Bordumsa. Visits Singpho, Mishing and Deori Tribal villages. Further to Namdapha, Overnight Forest Rest House or camp at Miao
DAY 15: Miao- (Namdapha)
Full days trek to explore the park, one can take elephant safari.Park is famous for tiger, elephant and elusive snow leopard, himalayan beer and other animals, park covers altitude from 200mtrs to 4500 mtrs Overnight Forest Rest House or camp at Miao.
DAY 16: Miao to Nampong.67 kms.
Leave to Nampong, the triangle of Arunachal -Assam-Burma and the battle filed of second world war between 1942- 1945, located close on the Indo Burma border, this town housing a historical site 'the cemeteries from the second world war. Town is close to pangasu pass and route to Stilwell, Region having dense forest , meet the Tangsa community peoples, night in local house or very- very simple hotel, rest house.Sub to availability.
DAY 17: Nampong
You will trek to explore the Tangsa villages and their traditional life, The historic Stilwell Road (Ledo Road) passing through the Nampong and goes down to Burma from here. It is threshold of the Indo-Burma (Myanmar) border, night in local house or very -very simple hotel, rest house.Sub to availability.
DAY 18: Nampong to Dibrugarh 160kms.
Early morning drive to Dibrugarh, On arrival check in hotel and drive to explore magnificent landscapes of tea plantations and discover the colorful market, Town known for local garments products as Mulberry Silk, cane and bamboo furniture, night in hotel.
DAY 19: Dibrugarh- to Majuli Via Sibsagar -Jorhat 136 kms.
Lave to Majuli, on the way visit Sibsagar an historical city was the capital of the mighty Ahoms, who ruled Assam for more than six hundred years before the advent of the British. Passing by Jorhat, the nerve centre of the Indian tea industry, is surrounded by splendid tea gardens.
The chief attraction of Jorhat is the 776 sq km Majuli locates on middle of the Brahmaputra and the Subansiri rivers in Assam, is the largest river island in the world, is inhabited by Deori tribals, you will be transferd by ferry boat till island, night in guest house.
DAY 20: Majuli,
Majuli is a natural & cultural heritage site, housing 22 Hindu Satras or monasteries are preservation of Assamees art which kept alive through these Satras.
A visit to Majuli unfolds a variety of interesting traditional handicrafts, ethnic music and dance forms, and an experience of real village life and tribal culture. The island is inhabited by tribes in the north, and Vaishnaviite 'satras' or monasteries, who preserve a unique lifestyle. Founded in the 15th century by Shankardeva, a renowned spiritual guru of Assam, Majuli is a living museum.
DAY 21: Majuli -Jorhat -Kaziranga.108 kms.
After noon reach at Kaziranag continue the jeep safari inside the park. Speciality is the one horned Rhino. Other attractions are Wild Elephants, Wild Boar, Deers and Tiger. rest of the time at leisure. Over night at the hotel.
DAY 22: Kaziranga - Guwahati - 217 kms.
Early morning game viewing at the park with an elephant safari to view the one horned Rhino. We return back to the hotel for break fast and drive to Guwahati. Upon arrival check in at the hotel . In the evening visit the famous Khamakya Devi Temple, a Hindu temple, and one of the holiest site for the Hindus to visit. It is believed that no wishes goes unfulfilled if made at the Temple. Overnight at the hotel in Guwahati.
DAY 23: Guwahati -Delhi and Departure (no hotel in Delhi.)
Morning transfer to airport, Flight to Delhi,after lunch visit:- Bahai Temple, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan President house and passing by The Parliament House. evening transfer to airport for onward flight.
