Trek And Monasteries Of Indus Valley. This is the best way to mingle with local population and enjoy the rhythm of village life which they are following from centaury , Peoples are farmers , lives with their herds of sheep , goats and Yak , they are honest and welcoming .

As regarding the accommodation, locale house or guest houses are traditional house, rooms are cleans and comfortable ,Candle light will be provided, You will be served traditional way and Indian food using Eco friendly method, Boiled cold water is served to drink , common traditional dry composing toilet.

While visiting with local guide you may appreciate village walk, stroll in fields , helping the villagers in various activities, flora and fauna watching and by evening gathering with local people.

Your journey day by day :

DAY 1 :- Arrival Delhi
Reception in air port, transfer to hotel, O/N in hotel.

DAY 2 :- Delhi to Leh (3500 m)
Transfer to domestic airport, flight to Leh, transfer to the hotel, free afternoon, O/N in the hotel.
Family Guest house, Double room, Local guide while visiting he town by foot.

DAY 3: - Around Leh
Day sight-seeing to Visit Shey, Thiksey, Hemis monasteries, Back to hotel, O/N in the hotel. Family Guest house , Double room , Local guide to visit the monastery.

DAY 4:- Leh - Phyang (3600m) (1h) and walk towards Taru (3700m) Trek
We visit the Phyang monastery and continue onwards with a pleasant walk. A short day necessary for our acclimatization. Night in familier house in Common room, toilette out side, trekking guide for whole duration of trek

DAY 5:- Taru - Taru La (4200m) - Nyemo (3700m) Trek
The trail climbs steeply towards the first pass of the trek, and descends to the Nyemo village.

DAY 6:- Nyemo - Nie (3800m) Trek
The route traverses Basgo, dominated by impressive ruined fortresses. A quite stricking succession of shortens, sanctuaries and a palace line the path.

DAY 7:- Nie - Likir (3600m) Trek
We enter an arid and bare landscape. Visit of the Likir monastery, one of the oldest in Ladakh.

LIKIR MONASTRY : The monastery of LIKIR was built in 12th century by king Gyalpo Lachen who governed Ladakh and during the reign of which, we began to collect the Buddhist writings, the sacred Kargyur which amount to 108 volumes. This king also made paint frescoes and murals. As to Alchi, we find impressive statues of the Buddha or, Bodhisattva there in their various attributions. Frescoes call back those of his twin the monastery of Alchi, witnesses both of a ancient glorious art. It would have been the first monastery to establish the system of lamasseries. The ancient buildings having been destroyed by fire, the current monastery is only 200 years old. It shelters monks' Gelugpa hundred, and is considered as its severity and the discipline which reigns there. In 1997, we dedicated it the biggest high statue of Buddha du Ladakh of 21 m.

DAY 8:-Likir - Yangthang (3600m) Trek
The route goes through two low passes, the Phobe La (3700m) and the Charatse La (3800m), opening to beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Night in family house in Common room , toilette out side,

DAY 9:- Yangthang - Hemis Shukpachan (3600m) Trek
En route, visit of the Ridzong monastery, which is set in stunning surroundings and hidden amongst the hills. After a tiny pass, we descend towards Hemis Shukpachan. Night in family house in Common room, toilette out side,

DAY 10:- Hemis Shukpachan - Temisgang (3700m) Trek
This part of the trail has been carved out from the ochre rocks into a balcony. We climb towards two passes at 4000m and arrive at Ang. Then on to Temisgang, ancient capital of the Syham Kingdom, and its monastery. Night in family house in Common room, toilette out side,

DAY 11:- Themisgam to Khaltse- Lamayuru (2995mtrs. over Bonbbongla (3850 mtrs.) 5 hours,Trek. 8
Last day of trek through beautiful valley and easy climb to Bonbongla for 1.30 hours. Follow a long gentle slope to Khaltse the main high way between Leh and Srinagar. Drive to Lamayuru, guest house, Later by evening one can join the puja in monastery. Night in monastery guest house or in local guest in double room, toilette attached.

DAY 12 :- Lamayuru to Leh via Alchi 162 kms.
Drive back to Leh via Alchi, the oldest monastery of Ladakh, afternoon reach Leh , rest time free at leisure, night in hotel. Family Guest house, Double room,

DAY 13:- Around Leh.
Visit Stok Palace, its museum, stroll in the village and Spituk
monastery, Afternoon get back and rest time at leisure , night in hotel.
Family Guest house, Double room, Local guide while visiting the monastery.

DAY 14:- Leh-Delhi, flight
Transfer to domestic airport. Flight to Delhi, transfer to hotel. Afternoon, free time in Delhi. O/N in hotel., Hotel o in Delhi, double room with toilette,

DAY 15:- Departure:
Full day visit Delhi, including, Red fort, Jama Masjid, Qutumb Minar, Bhai Temple, Humauin Tomb, evening transfer to airport, flight to onward destination. Afternoon check out the hotel.
