Your journey day by day :
DAY 01: Arrive in Kathmandu/stay at hotel.
DAY 02: Visit Around Kathmandu.
PASHUPATINATH TEMPLE :
Pashupati Nath temple is considered one of the holiest shrines of all
the Hindu temples. It is 6 km. east of Kathmandu. The temple has
remained the presiding deity of ruling Nepalese Royalty.
BHAKTAPUR DURBAR SQUARE
:
The City of Devotees. This is a unique
city located east of Kathmandu
at 1,400m above sea level.
With an area of 5 sq. kms. this unique city
is divided
into 24 traditional localities. It was founded by King Ananda
Dev in 889 A.D.
PATAN (Lalitpur) :
This
ancient city of Patan also known as Lalitpur of the city of fine
arts is about 5-kms south-east of Kathmandu. The city is full of Hindu
temples and Buddhist monuments.
SWAYAMBHUNATH STUPA :
Swayambhunath Stupa is the most ancient and enigmatic of all the holy
shrines in Kathmandu valley. Its lofty white dome and glittering golden
spire are visible for many miles and from all sides of the
valley.
Historical records found on a stone inscription
give evidence that the
stupa was already an important
Buddhist pilgrimage destination by the
5th century
AD.
DURBAR
SQUARE :
Durbar Square is situated in the
hub of the Capital of Nepal, the
ancient city of Kathmandu.
It is Nestled in the fertile valley under the
majestic
Himalayas, Katmandu is part of the ancient trade and
pilgrimage route from India to Tibet and China.
KUMARI GHAR :
Situated in the vicinity of Hanuman Dhoka Palace is the temple of
Kumari - the living Goddess, the goddess acknowledges the greetings from
her balcony. With profusely carved wooden balconies and window screens,
the building is simply majestic.
DAY 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara/visit the Phewa
lake, O/n at hotel -210 kms.
This
picturesque town is Situated at an altitude of 827 m on the bank of
Phewa Lake and in lap of magnificent Annapurna and Summit of
Machhapuchhre rising behind creates an ambience of peace and
tranquility. one hour boat ride at Phewa Lake, later visit the
Temple
situated in the middle of the lake., than
excursion to Sarangkot hill.

DAY 04:Trek to
Ghandruk, Trek 1
After
breakfast drive one hour from PKR along the Kusma/Baglung road to
Nayapul. Commence trek to Ghandrug via Birethathi.It is a long day trek
to Ghandrug.Ghandrug, is the huge Gurung village at 1970 m.The views of
Annapurna South from here are outstanding.The Traditional
Gurung Museum
& Restaurant Offers a variety of
dishes and drinks that are unique
to this region. Lunch will
be served enroute. Dinner and overnight in
lodge in
Ghandrung
DAY
05:Trek to Tadapani Trek 2
From
Ghandrug the trail climbs steadily up through forests, streams and reach
Tadapani which is at an altitude of 2540 m. Lunch will be
served
enroute and dinner in the camp in the evening.
Overnight in lodge.
DAY 06: Trek to Ghorepani Trek 3
After
breakfast start trek to Ghorepani. Overnight at Ghorepani Camp/lodge.
Day 07: Morning hikes to famed POON
HILL and trek to Tirkhedhunga. Trek 4
A
three hour trek brings us to Tirkhedhunga. This is the last night on
the trek and a special farewell dinner and dance program will be
organized by the Sherpa Team. Overnight at Tirkhedhunga
DAY 08: Trek to
Birethanti and short drive to Pokhara O/n at hotel. Trek 5
After
breakfast, descend gently down to the
banks of the Bhurgundi river and
follow the trail along the
river for three hours to Birethanti. Lunch.
There is a
check post where all trekkers must have their permits checked
and logged. After lunch, cross the suspension bridge and walk a further
20 minutes to arrive at Nayapul.
Bid farewell to the trekking staff and porters and board the
waiting vehicles for the 1 ½ hour drive back to Pokhara.
DAY 09: Pokhara
Morning
one hour boat ride at Phewa Lake, later
visit the Temple situated in
the middle of the lake.
Back for breakfast at hotel, than excursion to
Sarangkot
hill. back to Pokhara. night in hotel.
DAY 10 /11: Drive to Chitwan/Over night at Chitwan. 160 kms.
Jungle
safari continue:
Royal Chitwan National Park is synonymous with some of
the most rewarding and stimulating wildlife activities in Nepal. The
park is approximately 1,000 sq. km. of sub-tropical lowland jungle, five
hours by road from Kathmandu or a 25 minute flight. It is
home to a
multitude of wild animals including the Royal
Bengal tiger and the
endangered one horn Rhinoceros
native to Nepal of which there are less
than 1,500
surviving. There have also been more than 420 species of
birds recorded inside the park.
DAY 12: POKHRA/KATHMANDU. 180 kms.
Drive
back to Kathmandu through scenic mountain terrain.
On arrival check in
hotel, rest day free to explore
the capital your self.night in hotel.
DAY 13: Visit Bodhnath, rest time at leisure
BODHNAT :
One of the largest stupas in South Asia is located at Boudhanath, 5.km
east of the center of Kathmandu. It is the focal point for Tibetan
Buddhism in Nepal. It is considered to be one of the most important
Tibetan Buddhism monuments outside of Tibet. It is believed to
date to
the 5th century. It is known to Tibetans as
Chorten Chempa or the "Great
Stupa).There are over 35
gompas in the area of the stupa. It is a nice
walk from
Pashupatinath. Bodhnath is a little north of the airport.
There
is an entire village around the stupa inhabited
mainly by Tibetans.
Many of the Tibetans are in exile
since the Chinese took over Tibet in
1959. There is a
big festival here on Losar, the Tibetan New Year in
February or March. This is the biggest Tibetan New Years festival in
Nepal. Buddha Jayanti, the birthday of the Buddha, is on the full moon
night of April/May. On this day a statue of the Buddha is
taken on an
elephant around the Stupa.
NAGARKOT :
Nagarkot is situated in 33 kilometers east of Kathmand
(1:30 am), the
most popular village for his beautiful
views on the massifs of Jugal,
Khumbu and Rolwaling, and
by very good weather distant view on the
Everest.
