Festivals and fairs are important occasions and major attractions that display the ritual of diverse religions, rich heritage and history. Here festivals are celebrated with a great enthusiasm by the peoples of each sects, cast and religion together by revelry underone roof. To learn more about this part of the world, let’s join one of the proposed festivals to dip deep in to the color of Indian culture.

   

While travelling on the caravan routes, you'll discover the mysterious havelis of Shekawati, its oases, villages and citadels, Fort of Bikaner and temple of Deshnukh, Jaisalmer emerged in the desert, once an important destination on the caravan route. spectacular and gorgeous sand dunes of Khuri, Blue city of Jodhpur dominated by Mehrangarh fort, the softness of Aravalis and its rural villages, the green Bundi and pink city of Jaipur.  In Rajasthan Maharajas, princes or wrens and the Rajputes each of them has built fortresses and palaces even in a few acres of desert, to end the tour visit one of the 8th wonder of the world the Taj Mahal.

 Your journey day by day : 

Day 1: Arrive in Delhi
Arrive in Delhi by evening, transfer to hotel.

Day 2 : Delhi.
Tricycle  rickshaw  drive  through  old streets of Chandani chowk till Red fort to mingle  with  real indian folke. Ensuite  visit   Red fort  ,and  grand mosque ,Lunch in karim Restaurant ,   visites des india gate et  Gurudwara. ,  free time in cannaught place , night in hotel. Dinner in restaurant .

Day 3 : Delhi- Mandawa( Nawalgarh ) 6h
Departure to Mandawa for 5 to 6 hours located in  Shekawati. Region. Visit the fort and .Havelis ( traditional house built by sandstone) of Mandawa, Visit a charming market town  built in the XVIII century. afternoon, visit the fortress Nawalgarth, built in 1737 by Nawal Singh and havelis decorated with paintings. Exploration of the city, overnight at the hotel. Hotel Heritage Mandawa. In the evening visit family for taking tea and discuss the life and back a restaurant for dinner

Day 4:  Mandawa (Nawalgarh) - Bikaner
In the morning transfer to Bikaner, en route visit the beautiful havelis of Fathpur,  famous for its murals painting and then continued to Bikaner, a former stage of the caravan route. Check into your hotel. Later  visit the Lal  Garh Palace, fort of Bikaner. And night in hotel.

Day 5 : Bikaner to jaiselmer.
In the morning visit the famous temple of rats (the Karni Mata temple) at  Deshnookh, after visit road to  Jaiselmer once an important halt for caravans of the Silk route that crossed the Thar desert to visit the province of Sindh in Pakistan. , Late afternoon  visit fort   Gadisar to enjoy the sun set,  fort  and  Jain temple,  Night in  hotel.

Day 6 : Jaiselmer.
Early in the morning  at Gadi Sar Lake one can attend the Aarti ( Prayer to  praise the God )  Once Arti is over  return to the hôtel, after breakfast  Leave to  visit, Patwon ki Haveli  and salim singh Haveli, rest  day  to visit the festival, Afternoon excursion to Sam dune, Enjoy the camel ride and later sun set  against  the dune,  night in hotel. During the festival after noon is to attend for festival activities at Sam dune .

Day 7 : Jaiselmer to Khuri -40 kms. Local dance on  option.
Morning departure to Khuri, on arrival  check in hotel, after lunch leave to the  sand dune that offers  enchanting  experience to tourist, Camel safari to explore the village,  its  clay huts thatched by straw decorated  camels and colorful market , camel safari is  imperative to explore  the pulsating  soul of colourful Rjasthan villages. As per different faces of  the days one  can feel  the changes of red and golden sand hue  in to burnt yellow shade , ochre and deep blue , you can enjoy evening under starlit sky. night in camp or in hotel.

Day 8: Khuri - Jodhpur. 280 kms.
Morning departure to Jodhpur, the city where powerful Rajput clan of Rathore has strong hold. Stand at the edge of  Thar Desert . Visit  impressive Mehrangar  fort, built in the 15th century , and the Jaswant Thada  a white marble tomb, then stroll in the Sadar Bazar of  blue city. Jodhpur is fondly referred  to as   the ‘blue city ’  because of indigo coloured houses in the old town ,Traditionally , blue signified home  are Brahmanas . One can view  nicely these houses from the ramparts  of the  Meharangarh which looms high above  the buzzing city . Night in hotel.

Day 9 : Jodhpur. -  Rawala Jojawar Khejrela. (Meeting the family in village)
We will enter in the rural area located on the foot of Mount Arrawali and is  not much frequented by the  tourists, discovered the rural  villages, meeting with the family in avillage. Nights in an old haveli converted into a hotel, dinner prepared under  the supervision of the family of Maharaja. They will show you how the chef will prepares the food. Musician plays music in the court yard of the  hotel is being the Rajasthani custom of the Erra of Maharaja. Night in hotel.

Day 10: Rawala Jojawar  or Khejrela. - Bundi
Drive to Bundi that  offers a different face of Rajasthan: Everything is green around the city, dominated by an imposing fortress and a palace. "Anyone who has seen the palace of Bundi, can easily imagine the Hanging Gardens of Babylon," wrote Kipling. Night in hotel.

Day 11 : Bundi - Pushkar , 160 kms.
Leave to  Pushkar , check in hotel and  visit  the holy town .
It  is  very important pilgrimage centre of Hindu and  its saying that devotee should visit at least once in life time, There are  large number of Sadhu  who mainly congregate around the lake and temples. Sevaral Ghats runs to the lake  where pilgrims are constantly taking  bath  in  holy water  of lake, During festival time  day is  visit the world famous spectacular Camel fair. night in hotel.

Day 12: Pushakar—Jaipur 146 kms.
Departure for Jaipur, the capital of Rajputana. Visit the Hawa Mahal
the Palace of Winds. And stroll through the bustling bazaars of the Pink City. In evening at the cinema in the Rajmandir, dinner  and night in hotel,

Day 13:   Jaipur
After breakfast excursion to the Amber Fort located  at the distance of 10 kms at the out skirt of  Jaipur c ity. One can  take the Elephant ride  to the ramparts of the fort as did the Maharajas of the time where you will visit the palace and  temple dedicated to Goddess Kali , After visit back to city ,  In the  afternoon half an hour Rickshaw  ride in the city, rest time at leisure to visit the colorful bazar, night in hotel.

Festival of Elephant. Gangaur and Teej takes place here .

Day 14: Jaipur - Agra via Fatehpur Sikri , 220 kms.
Departure to the cities where power of the great Mughals has been  exercised .En route visit  Fatehpur Sikri, the city of red sandstone became  the impossible dream of Emperor Akbar. Lunch on the way,  Following the journey  to Agra., afternoon visit Taj Mahal, one of the most famous monuments of the world, built in the seventeenth century by the Emperor Shah Jahan as a token of eternal love ,night in hotel.

Day 15:  Agra-Delhi and departure..200 kms.
Morning visit to red Fort and drive to Delhi, En route  visit Sikandra fort  a Mosoule of Emperor Akber, As per time availability lotus temple can be  visited, other wise by evening farewell dinner in the city. Transfer to the airport and fly out toward your destination,  No hotel in Delhi.
