KINNER KAILASH PARIKRAMA SPIRITUAL TOUR
KINNER KAILASH PARIKRAMA SPIRITUAL TOUR
The Beaten Track ( **)

For the Indians and the Buddhists, the parikrama is a circumambulation around a divinity or around a place crowned as a temple, a tree, a mountain, a lake, a place of pilgrimage or even a holy city.

Parikrama of the mount Kinner Kailash, the most famous, is a sports trek of six days of walking. The road begins to Thangi, on the left bank of Satluj by pass of Charang up to the valley of Baspa. The best period for the parikrama is August, in particular the Indian day of Janam Ashtami (in The daytime of Lord Krishna's anniversary), it is also possible to make it for the end of June or later until October. The mount Kinner Kailask " the eternal house of Shiva ", is situated on the indo-Tibetan border where the free access for the foreigners is restricted, an entrance permit that must be previously obtained with proper authorities.
