DAY 01: Arrival in Delhi
Transfer to and O/N in hotel.
DAY 02: Delhi – Chandigarh - Dharamsala, 4h by Train and 6h by
road
Transfer
to railway
station, train to Chandigarh. then road for Dharamsala "

DAY 03: Visit of Dharamsala,
A
former colonial village, Mac Leod ganj, situated
in the feet of
majestic chain of Dhauladar, is world
famous since it became in 1959 the
residence of the Dalai
Lama and the Tibetan government in exile.
Baptized "
small Lhasa ", it is indeed essentially frequented by
Tibetans, Buddhist pilgrims, and western tourists in search of mysticism
…
Of traditional architecture, the
Namygal monastery is surrounded
with mills with prayer and
shelters Buddha's big images, Padmasambhava
and
Avalokhteshwara. If we have time, visit of the center of small

DAY 04: Dharamsala - Manali (1950 m), 250 km
Departure
early in the morning. We pass by Mandi who
is an important city of
Himachal Pradesh and the front
door of the valley of Kullu, called also "
the Valley
of Gods ".
We shall have the opportunity to
see of
numerous temples in this valley. Visit famous
aesthetic temples in the
style shikhara. We continue our
visit by several small typical villages.

DAY 05: Discovery of Manali
Visit
of the former temples of Manu in the old man Manali, the temple of
Hadimba in the middle of a forest of deodards cedars, in warm springs of
Vashisht and its Indian temples, Jagatsukh and the castle
of Nagar. As
Manali is one of the most famous cities
for its freshness, we shall
stroll afternoon in the
“mall” where we can merge in crowd of the Indian
tourists. At night in the hotel
DAY 06: Manali - Sarchu 225 km. (4253 m) by Rothang path (3950m) and
Baralacha la (4800 m), 115 km
We
roll along the river Beas then begin the long ascent of the pass of
Rothang (3950m), front door between Lahoul and valley of Kullu. We cross
several villages of Lahoul. The road is magnificent:
waterfall,
suspended glaciers, turquoise blue lakes and
mountains covered with
eternal snows accompany us
throughout this day. Long rise in the pass of
Baralacha
in a lunar landscape then redescente towards the magnificent
plateau of Sarchu. At night in a luxury camp.
DAY 07: Sarchu – Tsokar -160 km.
We
leave the vast plateau of Sarchu, by a road which
brings us up to the
pass of Namkila (4950m), then the
pass of Lachulangla (5090m).
Redescente in the rocky
gorges of Gangla Jal to Pang. From then on, we
are in the
region of Tchang-Thang, High plateaus, where Nomad (
Changpas) is with their herds (according to the season). We investigate
the village and its gompa. Small stroll by the lake salty, at Night in a
luxury camp.
DAY 08: Tsokar - Tsomoriri (Karzok) 4450 m, 90 km
The
road crosses the valley of Puga, runs(roams) stop
(ruling) to the
village of Sumdo. We go up the pass of
Namshangla, then we come down
towards the Lake Thaksang
karu. By coming down, you have a magnificent
view on
Lake Tsomoriri. It appears as a piece of turquoise in the middle
of the mineral mountains. At the end of afternoon arrival to Karzok.
Visit of the village populated with nomads " Changpa " and with
its
monastery then we shall have a walk by the lake.
At night in a luxury camp.
DAY 09: Tsomoriri - Leh. 240 km 7 h.
The
morning, the return by the same
road until Sumdo. Then we join the
valley of the Indus to
Mahe. We follow the river the Indus until Leh. At
nights in
the hotel.
DAY 10:
Leh – Stok - Choglemsar, 30 km (round trip) Trails round in the village of
Spituk.
Have
breakfast
at 7 am. At 8 am, we set off in the direction of Stok to take
advantage of the beautiful light of the sunrise on the big wall of the
mountain range (chain of Stok) which dominates the Palace and the
Village of Stok
Visit of the Palace and
the museum which contains
precious objects. We have a walk
in villages to observe the everyday
life of ladakhi.
We shall visit a family to drink a cup of tea and
discuss
their lifestyle.
Return to Choglamsar. Have lunch
in a
Tibetan restaurant. Later the lunch visits of a
camp of Tibetan
refugees. Visit of the monastery of
Spituk, close to Leh and stroll in
the village. At the end of
evening, return to Leh. At night in the
hotel.
DAY 11: Nubra valley : Diskit
(3 144 m - 120 km)
Morning
departure and rise up to the pass of Khardungla (5 600 m) on the
highest tarred road of the world. Check comment of check of passports
just after the pass. Descent in the valley of Nubra to Khalsar (3 018
m), then, routes until Diskit: recording and installation in an
inn or a
camp.
Ballad on
ensablées banks of the river Shyok (possibility of
rise on the back of a camel) up to the beautiful village of Hunder,
nested in the middle of trees near the water.
This village is
overhung by its accessible monastery by a
stiff and rocky path. Return
to Diskit and visit of the
village and the biggest gompa (with monks'
hundred)
and the most former of Nubra. At night in the inn or in camp.
DAY 12 and 13: Diskit – Panamik (3 183 m) –
Samur (3 096 m) – Leh (3 505 m)
We
continue up to the big village of Samur. (95 km). We visit the site of a
former stopping place of caravans on the banks of Nubra
where are warm
and sulphurous sources. It is less our
arrival to the sources than the
impression to have reached
the end of the valley and the natural beauty
of the
places that motivates this visit. Afternoon, return to Samur and
visit of the complex of 7 temples of the 200-year-old Samstelling Gompa
old man (beautiful frescoes and Tankhas) before returning to Leh by
going back by the fantastic environment around Khardungla. At
night in
the hotel to Leh. (126 km)
DAY 14: Leh-Delhi
Flight
for Delhi. On arrival, our colleague will
accompany you to the hotel.
Recording will be made
from noon. Meanwhile, have breakfast in the
restaurant, then half day of visit. Temple of the lotus and the grave of
Humaun. At night the hotel in Delhi.
DAY 15: Exploring Delhi and Departure
The
morning visits of the Old district of Delhi by Rickshaw,
bare of the
market in spices and the General store
colored. Visit of the Strong red
and the Big mosque. Lunch
and spare time in the center. In the evening,
transfer
has the airport for the flight of return.
