Smallest  state  of India  is bordered  with Nepal in the west, Tibet and  China to the north, Bhutan in the southeast, The world third highest peak, Kangchenjunga (8'586 m)dominates the  entire  Sikkim. Buddhism and Hinduism are the two major religion  . State  is ornamented by century old monasteries, deep valleys , terraced field and lush green forest where flora as Orchid  and Rhododendron are in abandon . Its here from  the grand explorer Alexandra David Neel ( First occidental woman ) made  her way  to Tibet.  Original habitants are said to be  Lepcha’s, Bhutia  and Nepalis  are migrated   much later to  the  state.
