Orrisa, A 482 kms stretch of coastline situated on the coast of Bay of Bengal with virgin beaches, rivers, waterfalls, forest with rich wild life, dotted with exquisite temples, historic monuments, Orissa is well known in India for the largest variety of tribal communities. They are found in all the districts of the State, The tribal people express their cultural identity and distinctiveness in their social organization , language, rituals , festivals and also in their way of dress, ornaments, art and crafts .They believes they are controlled by supernatural beings. There are many festival which can be classified into two groups, that One that relate to the individual families and others that relate to the village as a whole.

Further you will explore the tribes of CHHATISGARH: The state, which came into being on November 1st, 2000, is more or less an extension of the Chhotanagpur Plateau that constitutes India's richest mineral bearing zone. Together with Jharkhand and the Mayurbhanj- Singbhum districts of Orissa, this forms a distinctive tribal dominated area, which has for historic and other reasons,The state also includes the famed Bastar region, which is the largest district in India and where tribal crafts have developed into an art form.

Day 01: Arrive at Delhi
Transfer to hôtel.

Day 02: Delhi-Bhubaneshwar
Arrival Bhubaneswar and transfer to hotel. Check into hotel. Bhubaneshwar is the capital of Orissa and was also the capital of the Kalinga empire. It is the architectural glory of that period and remains Bhubaneshwar's greatest attractions. Afternoon city sightseeing of the temples starting with the Parasurameswara, Muktesvara, Raja Rani and the Lingaraja temples. Overnight Bhubaneshwar.

Day 03: Bhubaneshwar - Puri
In the morning drive to Udayagir & Khandagiri caves 6 kms from Bhubaneshwar Trek up to the caves which are situated on two low hills bearing witness to the Jain & Buddhist occupation of the region in the second century BC and are among the earliest in India. After lunch proceed to Puri enroute stopping at the village of Raghurajpur. This village is famous for its paintings of temple deities and murals for the temple and manuscripts on paper and palm leaves. Watch the artists a work in their special homes. Arrive Puri late afternoon. Check into Hotel. Evening at leisure on the beach. Overnight Puri .

Day 04: Puri - Konark - Puri
After leisurely breakfast drive to Konark (1 hr). Konark is one of the most vivid architectural treasures of Hindu-India and is a World Heritage site. It was called "The Black Pagoda " by European sailors to distinguish it from the white-washed Jaganath temple in Puri, though some of it lies in ruins most of the structures in the complex are magnificent and a culmination of Orissan art. The Sun temple at Konark is often described as a masterpiece in stone, the highest point of achievement in the Kalinga school of architecture. This temple built like a gorgeous chariot with its twelve pairs of giant, marvelously sculptured wheels on seven richly caparisoned horses straining their necks to pull Th massive weight, is truly a marvel crafted. Return to Puri by the afternoon. Later visit Jaganath temple in heart of the town. Evening stroll along the beach and visit the colorful night markets. Overnight Puri.

Day 05: Puri - Chilka
After breakfast, we proceed to Chilka by surface (140 km - 5 hrs) enroute visiting Coastal Orissa Villages. There, you can meet and interact with the local people and enjoy their culture and traditions. You can also enjoy a unique and exciting Bullock Cart Ride. Arrive at Chilka and check into the Hotel.
Overnight stay will be at Chilka Lake.

Day 06: Chilka - Baliguda
Drive to Baliguda after breakfast. Baliguda is in the district of Phulbani, through the beautiful countryside road full with small mountains of Sal forest, one of the entry point to the tribal highland of Orrisa. En-route visit weavers village at Itamati and some of the typical Orissan villages. Arrive at the hotel in the evening. Overnight at Baliguda.(Distance -300kms ,Driving time 7 hours + visit)

Day 07: Baliguda
Today after breakfast you will make a visit to the Barakhamba area to trekk to some of the remote villages of tatooed face desia kondh tribes. you can trekk short or long trek as you wish .Overnight at Baliguda.

Day 08: Baliguda - Kothagarga - Rayagada
After breakfast you will depart to Belghar area visit of a few Kuttiya Kondha Tribal Villages & Weekly Market at Kothagarh. Proceed to explore the villages of the primitive Kutia kondh Tribes, once famous for the human sacrifice. Living in the mountain / forest cores are friendly tribal community. Lunch on the way. Drive down to Rayaguda. Arrive in the evening.Overnight at Hotel.( Distance -200kms , Driving Time -4/5 hours+visit)

Day 09: Rayagada - Chatikiona - jeypore
Trekk to most primitive Dongria kondh villages in the Niyamgiri hills.You can also see and enjoy the Dongria kondhs men and women comming down from their mountains with different kinds of fruits and animals etc. to the weekly market. After visiting their villages , you can come down to see their interesting weekly tribal market where they mix with other community.The weekly market at Chatikona where Doms, Desias and Dongoriya Kondhas barter is an interesting event to watch. Later drive on to Jeypore. Enroute Kani tribal village.o/n Jeypore (Distance -205 kms, Drive Time 5hrs+visit)

Day 10: Eypore - Ankadeli - Lamptaput - Jeypore
Morning the area we visit is the home of the approximately 6000 members of the fierce Bondas (naked people). They live in the remote hills and keep themselves isolated. They grow rice by shifting cultivation and keep domesticated cows and goats. They can only be seen when they come to trade at the local market, and we must time our visit to coincide with the weekly market day on Thursday. The Bonda women are noticeable by their bead necklaces, striking brass and silver necklets and their shaved heads decorated with plaits of Palmyra leaves. You will also see the colourful Godabas,parajas and mali tribes. Afternoon drive back to jeypore enroute visiting the pottery village bapaniguda,siriguda and paraja tribal village at Litiput. Overnight at Hotel at Jeypore(Distance 160kms Drive Time 3/4 hours +visit)

Day 11: Jeypore - Gupteswar - jeypore
You can proceed to Gupteswar 70 km to visit the villages of very interesting dhuruba tribe. Visit and walk through villages of Ramanguda, Dogariguda, Silpader, Talur etc. The dhruba tribal males like to put ornaments living in the border of Madhya Pradesh. Visit the Cave temple of lord Shiva in the hidden mountain famous among the tribes. back to hotel at evening. OVERNIGHT at Hotel.

Day 12: Jeypore - Jagdalpur (90 kms)
Drive to Jagdalpur) enroute visiting some typical and interesting Chhattisgarh villages. Chhattisgarh is a neighboring state of Orissa. Jagdalpur is the district headquarters of the famous Bastar area of Chhatisgarh, check in hotel, night in hotel.

Day 13: Jagdalpur -Jagdalpur area
Jagdalpur) takes us as deep into the past as Valmiki's Ramayana. It was the famous Dandakaranya through which Lord Rama is supposed to have passed. Scholars have also identified Valmiki's ashram here.

Located on the south bank of the Indravati River. The area is famous for age old wooden handicrafts. Jagdalpur, the main town of Bastar’s and former capital, After lunch leave to visit the historical Jagdalpur and the Anthropological Museum, Chitrakote waterfall, you will also visit some of the local Bison-Horn Maria tribe, renowned for their spectacular ceremonial dancing, back to hotel

Day 14: Jagdal pur - Kanger Valley National Park - Jagdalpur
Visit of Kanger valley national park ,Tirathgarh waterfall and the extraordinary stalactite and stalagmite caves. Kanger retains the original intensity of the forests that once covered this whole region, For lunch you will have picnic in the rich forest where wild and forest tribal people lives in their natural habitat. You may also explore some of Jagdalpur’s unique handicrafts. Evening back to hotel.

Day 15: Jagdalpur to Kanker - Kondagaon - Narayanpur
leave to meet he Bastar tribal peoples. You will explore nature of north Bastar by visiting to a colourful weekly market. This is a great opportunity to meet the local people. At Narayanpur and Kondagaon discover the Bastar’s handicrafts, and meet the people who make them, lunch packet and evening to Kanker Palce,

Day 16: Kankher
Explore the Muria tribe and rest day at leisure. Enjoy performance of Muria tribes traditional music can be arranged.

Day 17: Kankher, Kawardha
Check in hotel Kawardha palace, later sight seen to Bhoramdeao situated at a distance of 18 kms from Kwardha on the banks of the River Sankari, among the Satpura Hills. The temples were built by Raja Ramchandra of the Nag Dynasty. The temples are superb examples of contemporary architecture and have much historic and religious importance. , later back to Palace. evening culture events as local folk dance will be organised,

Day 18: Kwardha
After breakfast introduction with the Kawardha’s small natural tribal world. Meet the gentle and friendly Baiga people, Lunch packed (Pic-nic), evening return to hotel

Day 19: Kwardha to Sirpore - Raipur
It used to be the capital of the southern Kosal in the 5th & 6th century. In the 7th century Heuin Tsang visited this place. The Laxman temple that was built here in the6thcentury AD. Other famous attractions of Sirpur are the Gandheshwar Temple and the Buddha Vihara. The most interesting feature of the Sirpur is that archeological objects associated with the various sects and religions like Shaiv, Vaishnav, Jain and Buddhism (of approximately the same age) have been found side by side, evening to Raipur; hotel .

Day 20: Raipur to Delhi
After breakfast, visit the museum, temple of Radha Krishna,
Lunch and transfer to airport forflight to Delhi.

Day 21: Visit Delhi, Departure
Morning after breakfast proceed for Full day sightseeing tour of New Delhi & Old Delhi to include Bahai Temple & the Qutab Minar, India’s largest Mosque the Jama Masjid and Red Fort, evening free, after dinner transfer to airport for onward flight.
