Trek Sandakphu: this is a moderate trek for average age group of 15 to 70 years old. It offers enchanting view of the surrounding Himalayan peaks; the trail goes through the dense forest, villages of sherpas, alpine meadows and turreted rivers. Before and after the trek you will visit Major Town of Darjeeling and Gangtok the capital of Sikkim and same time will appreciate the ancient monasteries, handicraft center, museum and the gardens.


Day 1: Arrival Delhi.

Day 1: Arrival Delhi

Reception in the airport, transfer to the hotel, overnight in the hotel.

Day 2: Delhi to Manali (2000 m) 570 kms16 hours by night tourist bus

Full day sight-seeing in Delhi; transfer to the bus station by evening and the night journey in comfortable bus.

Day 3: Manali

Reach Manali by morning, check in the hotel, and by walk visit Manu Temple – old Manali, Hadimba temple, Shiva temple and Tibetan Monastery in the town, the main attraction of Manali. Free by the afternoon to stroll in the market, night in the hotel.

Day 4: Manali/Prini-Ponduropa/Setan (2700 m) 4 hours; Trek 1

After breakfast drive to Prini village, the path leads through the Village by a zigzag trail to the valley floor and offers an extensive view. Reach Khangpa village of Saten, the people of Khangpa community have migrated from Spiti (Tibet in the olden time). They still move as nomads of Chang-Thang till now.

Day 5: Panduropa/Setan-Chhika (3000m) 4 hours; Trek 2

Trek through breathtaking landscapes, the meadows surrounded by high mountain ranges just below the Hamta Pass, on a grassy slope. Inan impressive surroundings, here the rocks assume wonderful colors. Chikka (the camp site) is followed by a River, Alain Nallah and its snout isHamta Pass. Finally we reach Chikka.

Day 6: Chhika-Marhi (3300m apprx) 5 hours; Trek 3.

During trekking cross a river to other side of the valley and get a beautiful view of Deo Tibba,Indrasan and Inderkilla, Hanuman Tibba (5930 Mts) and group of summits around Beas Kund and also landscape of Bara Bhangal Region.

Day 6: Chhika-Marhi (3300m apprx) 5 hours; Trek 3.

During trekking cross a river to other side of the valley and get a beautiful view of Deo Tibba,Indrasan and Inderkilla, Hanuman Tibba (5930 Mts) and group of summits around Beas Kund and also landscape of Bara Bhangal Region.

Day 7: Marhi-Piyangniru (3900m apprx) 4 hours; Trek 4.

The whole area is surrounded by high summits, hanging glacier, and massive moraine. This is true alpine zone that we are trekking in. Afternoon we spend time in exploring the surroundings.

Day 8: Piyangniru-Raurikhaudi (3300m) 5 hours; Trek.

Trek gets little steeper in the beginning and after that all the way descends down to Raurikhaudi. Local shepherds of Kullu Valley can be seen grazing their herds of sheep and goats.

Day 9: Raurikhaudi – Jogidugh (3000m.via lamadugh/sorotu) 4 hours; Trek 6,

Jogidugh occupies a very famous place in the Hindu mythology, especially for the local habitants of the Valley. Said to be a very holy place of Thakshag nag (the serpent god).

Day 10: Jogidugh-Tilgan (2900m) 4hrs; Trek 7.

During trekking cross a river to other side of the valley and get a beautiful view of Deo Tibba,Indrasan and Inderkilla, Hanuman Tibba (5930 Mts) and group of summits around Beas Kund and also landscape of Bara Bhangal Region.

Day 11: Tilgam—Manali-via Bhanara (2300m) or Jagatsukh 4hrs; Trek 8.

Scenic trail descends to Bhanara, there is an old temple of local God near the village and another historic cave (ARJUN GUFA) where the Pandavas are believed to have taken refuge during their exile. Get down to road side and drive back to Manali.

Day 12: Manali to Delhi 16 hours 570 kms.

Visit Vashisht Well known for its hot springs and temples of sage Vashisth and Lord Rama, which are the main attractions in the town; by Evening transfer to the bus station to board a bus to Delhi, night in the bus.

Day 13: Arrive at Delhi  and departure.

Transfer to hotel, free visit in Delhi, evening transfer to international airport for onward flight

The agency will refund the entire paid amount to his client deducting the registration fee (€ 40 per persons or equivalent in other currency), bank charges subject to the bank policies, when booking domestic flights, the Cancellation fee subject to airline policies at present or if the tickets are non- refundable in that case the full amount of the ticket will be retained. The hotels are reserved and must be paid in advance; the company will apply the cancellation policies of hotels. Cancelation charge for train tickets and other ground transport and related services if needed to be booked in advance. Hence the remaining amount will be refunded after deducting all above cancelling policies applied for different services.

2: 40 Days before departure

Less than 30 days before departure

The agency will be obliged to withhold the full amount of the deposit paid by the customer. In this case, the customer must inform their insurance as soon as possible and provide as much documentation to support the cancellation of trip. It is therefore h3ly advised to take out cancellation insurance to cover such expenses.

Itinerary / hotels are sub. to change in case of strike, civil war threat, you may be will lose expected places you have prepared for but will explore unexpected and for sure will not disappointed.

In case of Vehicle break down another mode of transport will be managed at the earliest possible, In that case you are requested to keep patience and co-operate with the situation, while travelling to rural and isolated area replacing vehicle can take time due to lac of communication.

It is very much possible that Pony / Mule /yaks can disappear during the night when get scared by wild animal such as snow leopards and wolf and can be impossible to trace out, in that case getting new team of pony / horse /yaks cannot immediately arranged. You can loose one or more days to get arranged mode such of transport. In case unavailability of pony / horse /yaks tour itinerary can be curtailed or changed completely from the trekking to cultural tour for the remaining days. We need your co-operation to understand the present situation and contribution to cover extra expanses occured due to such circumstance.

The Company cannot be made liable for the consequences of weather condition, flight cancellations, war or threat of civil war, strikes, industrial action, political unrest or any other force majeure, unusual or unforeseen circumstance. The company reserves the right to use alternate transport, or vary the itinerary if breakdown, sickness or any other force major. Any additional that result, such as extra hotel accommodation, flight or road transport will be on your charge and must be paid directly at the spot.

Please understand, there are certain hazards involved in your adventurous and culture holidays which you must accept at your own risk. The company will not be liable for any illness major or minor injury, death sustained during neither the trip, nor it will be liable for any uninsured losses of your property and other losses during the trip. Accommodation is based on 3 star category in cities, Neat and clean local standards of hotels will be provided in Leh. While trekking you will be assisted by kitchen with with all necessary items including to men spacious tent, mattress, dining tents from 4 persons onward, toilet tents and all necessary items.

While driving, sub. to the number of person in group, for 2-4+ guide Toyota Innova, for more than 5 persons Tempo travelers or mini bus. All vehicle will be air-conditioned, except in hilly area air-condition of any vehicle can not be regularly used due to steep uphill drive, So you have to co-operate with.

While trekking logistic will be transported. by mule / porters or Yaks, you are requested to not carry more than 15 kgs as even domestic airline limit the weight till 15 kgs. Exceeding 15kgs of weight will result the surcharges as per the airline law, even excess baggage’s will increase the weight on animal back which we should understand and respect the limit.

Road

You will use road for sight seen and to reach at the starting point of trek and from the end of the trek to Darjeeling. But still you can face land slide due to usual rainfall in Darjeeling and can be blocked for few hours or for a day. you may miss the places expected to visit, or will visit the unexpected places, to regulate the situation the team at the spot will do the best possible at the moment. Road in India are being widen So please don’t compare the driving time as estimated in developed nation.

Preparation of relief of sun burn, Lip salve, Anti septic cream, Antihistamine cream (for relief of insect bites), Anti diarrhea (flagyl or any other), Anti headach (diamox, aspirin,paracitamol, zimalgin), Anti vomiting (avomin), For stomachach (baralgan,trigan or other diagnose) Dettol, washproof dettol plaster, Bandage and cotton, Balm, Anti cramp spray, Pills to purify the water, Scisor and knife are must in the medical kit.

According to your physical condition you are requested to consult your doctor to complete your medical kit. You will be guided by a professional Englsih speaking mountain guide. Kitchen team will be at your service with necessary items, Horse/ Ponies or porters in specific route will be carrying the load while trekking. Once reaching at campsite your assistance to team members will be appreciated to establish the camp site.

Generally, vary to different season, Darjeeling remain one among most rainy part of north east India due to its tropical climate.

Subject to the season and regions climate is variable in each region. its semi tropical Autumn, winter is cool and summers is hot and it rains lots. On the other hand, in the Himalayas severe winters and cool summers are prevalent. Darjeeling is botanists’ paradise. Rare and exotic faunas found here. Temperature in low altitude vary from minimum 5 to 10°C and maximum 13-30°C , in higher altitude temperature goes down but while in bad weather temperature can go under Zero during late autumn and in winter, so please be prepared accordingly.

Pre-travel conditioning is very desirable, as more you are prepared the more you enjoy the trips. For such trek required good physic, previous trekking experience will make your way easier to attempt the goal to complete the scenic trek.

As we gain altitude slowly, so we get acclimatize naturally. And for the vast majority the slow ascent to height will produce minimum effects. The most important attribute for any adventure travel trip is positive attitude
