Snow Leopard is also known as Grey Ghost. Snow leopards act as ambassador of the planet’s highest places. This apex predator is known for striking beauty, with smoky-colored coats tinted with cream and yellow shades and patterned with black spotsand each cat has a pattern that is unique like a fingerprint.
This expedition offers an excellent and rare opportunity to spot elusive snow leopards in their natural habitat. As Snow leopards live in harsh, snowy, rugged alpine regions, we may encounter temperatures as low as -25C or even lower and a white blanket of snow cover.This tour is for wildlife enthusiasts& wild-life photographers who want to explore the high-altitude realm of Spiti Valley in winter for rare wildlife and have an experience of a lifetime.


Day 01: Arrive Shimla & local sightseeing

Day 02: Shimla- Kalpa 223 Kms

Day 03: Kalpa- Tabo 150 Kms

Day 04- 06: Tabo- Langza 80 Kms/ Langza: Snow Leopard trailing in surrounding region

Day 07- 09: Kibber: Snow Leopard trailing in surrounding region

Day 10: Kibber- Nako

Day 11: Nako- Shimla 311 Kms

Day 12: Drop at volvo Bus stand


Day 01: Arrive Shimla & local sightseeing

Today onward your adventure starts. Report at Chandigarh where cars are waiting for you to take you to Shimla by road. Shimla also known as British raj capital of India. Arrive Shimla in the evening.Rest or you can choose to visit the famous Mall road or The Ridge of Shimla. Overnight at 3* hotel.

Day 2 : Shimla- Kalpa 223 Kms (2969m)

After breakfast we head towards our next destination and this journey, we’ll do in a 4*4 Vehicle. It’s a long day journey and we arrive Kalpa in the evening. We rest and get ready for the next day’s journey. On an early arrival we’ll complete the formalities of Inner- Line Permit or else it’ll be followed the very next morning.

Day 3: Kalpa- Tabo 150 Kms (3280m)

The most Important task of the day is to get our Inner-line permit to go further (if it’s not done the previous day). Once it’s done at magistrate office, we drive to our next destination Tabo. Enroute we’ll stop at Nako for Lunch and explore the lake village. On arrival stroll around the village & its famous Tabo Monastery. Overnight at Tabo.

Day 04/05/06: Tabo- Langza 80 Kms (4420m)/ trailing Day 1, 2 &3 (4450mz to 4730m)

Today we arrive Langza and have our refreshment and in the evening, we walk around to get acclimatize to this high-altitude village. Next Morning onwards we start trailing the places where we have chances of spotting the snow-leopard. We have 2 days at Langza to spot the leopard. After trying our luck at Langza we drive toward highest village and spend time to explore the region and try to find the leopard.

Day 07/08/09: Kibber: Snow Leopard trailing Day 4, 5 & 6 (4270m)

We also visit the regions of Kibber and its surroundings and explore the possibilities of spotting snow-leopard and stay at Kibber.

Day 10: Drive to Nako (3600m)

Today we bid a bye to the journey we came for. We’ll drive back the same way and will stop at Nako for the night halt and rest.

Day 11: Nako- Shimla 311 Kms

The journey continues to Shimla the same way we came by. Arrive Shimla and if time permits visit the market and explore the local surrounding of this small hill station. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12: Drop at volvo Bus stand

It is a Departure day. As per the transportation mode & Departure time you’ll be transferred.

    This is mandatory for all clients travelling on any tour/ trek or independent itinerary arranged by us. You are responsible for obtaining adequate insurance covering unexpected such as the loss of baggage, medical expenses, helicopter (air or ground) rescue, injury, death, repatriation, cancellation and curtailment of the itinerary. *It is strongly advised that clients take out insurance to cover the unexpected and cancellation charges.
    No refund will be made for any unused services included in the tour / trek cost. No refund will be payable to any client who voluntarily or obliged to leaves a trip enroute, clients are responsible to bare their own expenses, expenses of such as escort, transport, hotels and other related services occurred due to such circumstances.
    Client agrees to accept the authority and the decision of the tour/ trek leader or escort appointed by the company whilst on tour with the company. If in the opinion of the tour/ trek leader, any client’s behavior is detrimental to the safety, welfare or harmonious state of the group as a whole, the client may be asked to leave the tour / trek without any right of refund and all extra expenses caused will be on his/her charge.
