Deo Tibba base camp trek, one of the less frequented routes by trekkers, however is preferred destination for mountaineers who are eager to climb the peaks of region.
Few kms of drive from Manali toward Jagatsukh village and further deep in to the narrow valley above Khanol. Here onward trail goes through forest, pastures of wild flowers, Rhododendrons bushes. Roar of gushing torrents of river leads to fascinating site of Seri which is the base to the surrounding fascinating peak. The high light of the trek is Chandratal (the tarn) located in middle of glacier field on the route leads to Deo Tibba, Indraassan and Nurbu peak.

Day 3: Chhika -Seri , 3800m, (5-6 hrs). Trek 2
Day 4: Seri to Tainta Base Camp -4050m. 3-4 hrs, Trek 3

Day 1 - Arrive Manali & Rest
Arrive Manali & Rest. Acclimatization day: Visit Manu Temple, Hadimba Temple, Mall road & Monastery by walk. return to hotel by foot for the night & the stay
Day 2: Manali-Chhika, 3500m: Trek 1
Drive to the starting point of the trek, from Jagatsukh leave main road and take a rough road (Gravel) built by hydro project company till end for about 12 kms. (authorization to use the road is must require and is sub. to permission. Here you will meet your Pony man or porters to transport the logistic till base camp. Gradual ascend for about 3 hours till Chikka goes through forest of pine spruce, silver fir, Oak and birch. At the end valley open up as soon reaching to Chhika, a beautiful place of grassy meadow at the bank of river. Chhika has a small temple that dedicated to local deity which the trekkers are requested to respect by to not enter with shoes and avoid noise. Night in camp.
Day 3: Chhika -Seri , 3800m , 5- 6 hrs. Trek 2
Gradual uphill trail following the opposite flow of mountain stream, boulder and grassy meadows filled by wild flower in summer. Once on the top of valley you are greeted by amazing view of surrounding peaks. Large part of seri meadow is marshy and is a grazing ground of the animal of villagers. Campsite will be set aside of the meadow. Night in camp.
Day 4: Seri to Tainta BC-4050m. 3-4hrs, Trek 3
Walk a side of round shaped marshy flat land of Seri, later take a short push to climb up to Tainta, after a short while reach at the camp site. After establishing camp, take a side walk to explore the surrounding and get the familiar with terrain, night in camp.
Day 5: Tainta to Chandratal (4550 mtrs) - Tainta. (6-7 hrs). Trek 4
Trail begin by ascending a grassy ridge (sub. to season) later moraine and glacier terrain till mini-Chandra tal situated at the beneath of Nurbu peak. Spend some time to appreciate the stunning view of Deo Tibba, Norbu peak and Jagatsukh peak and breathtaking landscape. Later take same way back to Tainta. Night in camp.
Day 6: Tainta to Chhika – 4-5 hrs, Trek 5.
After breakfast downhill walk by the same way following the river bank, trail winds through boulders and bushes of Junifers and Rhodendrons. If time allows some of fun or adventure activities as of rock climbing / Rappelling can be conducted.night in camp.
Day 7: Chhika- Khanaul - Manali Departure:
After leisurely breakfast, take a short downhill walk by same way to road head. See of the team members who served you throughout the trek and contributed to make your trip unforgettable. Here Vehicle will pick you up and will drop at your hotel for your night stay and the meal.
Day 8 - Free day & Drop at Volvo stand
Its free day in the morning, checkout from your hotel and be free to explore Manali on your own. Our service will be to drop you at Bus stand Manali for overnight bus.

Note: Please be sure that your insurance covers your all expenses in high altitude as of ground or air rescue during your trek in case of accident, altitude sickness, if helicopter required: We request you to provide Himalayan Frontiers the Insurance number, policy number, 24 hours emergency contact of insurance, persons in your family to be contacted if need be.

By air: Bhuntar at the distance of 50 kms from Manali, taxi
can be booked on arrival and local bus station is at proximity of
airport. please note that by bus 1h30 to 2 hours of journey.
By Road: Manali is well connected to
Delhi. Overnight Volvo buses are run by Himachal road ways
transport, Himachal tourism and private tour operators. Online booking
facilities are available to book the tickets for the choice of your date.
Arrival time of buses at
Manali is between 8-9 am onward.
Briefing of the trip: Briefing of trip will start by afternoon on
day of arrival, every participant is requested to be on time. Those
missing the briefing will be not repeated for those late arrival.
2: No Show of participant: Those who could not reach timely on
reporting day will be considered no show. No show of participant will enforce
Himalayan Frontiers to cancel their booking. Those who considered non- shown
please consult the terms and condition policies applied by company. To avoid
such inconvenience, we advise each participant to reach Manali a day earlier
the trek start and be on time to avoid delay of trek start.

Above mentioned items should preferably be packed in a
rucksack that is easier to carry. Please do handle the plastic/polythene bags
and don’t carry any disposable items, ornaments and other valuables.
All booking for the tours/treks is made with Himalayan
Frontiers, herein after referred to as ‘the company’ and are subject to the
conditions:
the person signing the booking form accepts the
conditions and is hereafter referred to as the client.
The Company cannot be made liable for the consequences of
weather condition, flight cancellations, war or threat of civil war, strikes,
industrial action, political unrest or any other force majeure, unusual or
unforeseen circumstance. The company reserves the right to use alternate
transport, or vary the itinerary if breakdown, sickness or any other force
major. Any additional that result, such as extra hotel accommodation, flight or
road transport will be on your charge and must be paid directly at the spot.
Please understand, there are certain hazards involved in
your adventurous and culture holidays which you must accept at your own risk.
The company will not be liable for any illness major or minor injury, death
sustained during neither the trip, nor it will be liable for any uninsured
losses of your property and other losses during the trip. One has to take care
of his/her individual luggage. In case of loss or damage customer himself will
be responsible for the same.
This is mandatory for all clients travelling on any tour/
trek or independent itinerary arranged by us. You are responsible for obtaining
adequate insurance covering expenses of unexpected as mentioned in liability
paragraph. the loss of baggage, medical expenses, helicopter (air or ground)
rescue, injury, death, repatriation, cancellation and curtailment of the
itinerary.
*It is strongly advised that clients take out insurance
to cover the unexpected and cancellation charges.
No refund will be made for any unused services included
in the tour / trek cost. No refund will be payable to any client who
voluntarily or obliged to leaves a trip enroute, clients are responsible to
bare their own expenses, expenses of such as escort, transport, hotels and
other related services occurred due to such circumstances.
For foreign nation participants additional charges will be
add on to buy the foreign currency, (hence buying the currency charges has to
be borne by clients) bank transfer (wire transfer) charges and other administrative
paperwork to be completed which is quite long exhausted process, we request you
to understand and co-operate with. We will do our best possible to deal such
cases respecting the present circumstances.
Client agree to accept the authority and the decision of
the tour/ trek leader or escort appointed by the company whilst on tour with
the company. If in the opinion of the tour/ trek leader, any client’s behaviour
is detrimental to the safety, welfare or harmonious state of the group as a
whole, the client may be asked to leave the tour / trek without any right of
refund and all extra expenses caused will be on his/her charge.
The organisers or any individual connected with the camp
shall not be held responsible of any accident or any unforeseen natural
calamity
Last moment changes on programme will not be acceptable.
Final decision on any dispute will be taken by HIMALAYAN FRONTIERS Pvt. Ltd.
only.
Participants are not allowed to go out of campsite
without permission of Himalayan Frontier authorities.
Participants are expected to be in discipline. One can be
dismissed from the programme/camp who found to be misbehaving with any
individual or staff members, without prior notice.
40% of total programme cost should be deposited in
advance for booking.
Balance payment should be made at least 7 days before the
tour begins.
The amount paid once is not transferable to any other
programme /tour or to any other individual(s)/group or for any other service.
No refund shall be made if participant(s) drop/terminate from program at any point due to any reason.
