Day 1: Arrive Manali

Report at manali hotel. In the afternoon you’ll visit Manu Temple, Hadimba temple & Mall road. Return back to hotel for the night

Day 2 : Manali- Purney Over Shinkula (5090)

After an early breakfast we start our journey, we drive through Atal Tunnel to Lahaul valley and further to Jispa and Darcha. We ascend to Shinkula which 5090 meters in evelvation. Shinkula is gateway to Zanskar and we descend to the valley. We keep driving across the villages until we reach Purney. We stay in Home stay here for the night

Day 3: Purney- Padam visit Phugtal Monastery (2hrs Trek)

Before heading to Padam the subdivision headquarter of Zanskar and the main town of Zanskar, we drive take a hike to Phugtar Monastery which is 1 hour away from Purney. The walk is along the bank of Tsarp-chu River and so the monastery is carved at the bank. Visit the monastery and hike back till car parking area and drive further for around 2 hours to reach padam. Check-in at the guest house and rest for the night here.

Day 4: Padam- Gombo Rangjon & Padam visit: Sheela Waterfall, Karsha Monastery & Zangla fort/ Village 

Today we visit the major attraction of  Zanskar starting with Karsha Monastery, Zangla fort ruins &  Sheela waterfall. get back to town for lunch and after lunch we drive back the same way towards Manali but stop for the night at the Majestic Gombo Rangjon. spend some time at night for stargazing.

Spend your evening at your hotel/ Homestay followed with Dinner. and spend the night stargazing.

Day 5: Gonbo Rangjon– Manali over Shinkula

we take it easy today and enjoy the breakfast in the sun in the morning. Post Breakfast we ascend to shinkula pass again and drive toward Manali. it’ll be a drive of around 5hrs and our car will drop you near  at Manali Mall road for your further journey.
