Hanuman Tibba is highest peak of Dhauladhar mountain range, approach to base camp is longer compare to traditional route of Beas kund side but from base toward summit camp is much easier than traditional route, another important factor taking long route allows climbers to better acclimatise before heading to the higher camp.
Peak stand stunningly as snowy pyramid shape monument from its summit camp. One requires previous mountaineering experience and technical skill. physical fitness is must to negotiate with moraine, rock, Ice and snowy route.
From Summit, you will be blessed by astonishing view of peaks sprout as mushrooms field, all those mountains one after one are amazingly challenging and glorious which makes your way to dream the next venture.
Day 1: Manali- Lamadugh (3360m/ 4-5hrs)
Day 2: Lamadugh - Tosh- Thatch (4040m/ 4-5hrs)
Day 3: Tosh Thatch- Dohrani 3550m over Udi Pass (4310m) (5-6hrs)
Day 4: Dohrani- base camp (4030m) via Seri (3850m) 6hrs
Day 5: Acclimatization day. Preparation and walk till the blue lake (4430m)
Day 6: Load ferry to summit camp (4950m.) and back to base.
Day 7: Establish the summit camp.
Day 8: Summit (5950m) 8-9h
Day 9: Contingency day
Day 10: Back to base camp.
Day 11: Base - Dohrani Back (7-8hrs)
Day 12: Dohrani - Tosh Thatch (7-8hrs)
Day 13: Tosh Thatch- Rani Suit Lake (3850m/ 5-6hrs)
Day 14: Rani Sui to Sanchal village & Drive to Manali
Day 15: Departure
Essential: Route between base and summit camp is arduous, you will have to negotiate with moraine and glacier field, use of crampon is mandatory hence previous mountaineering experience and good physical condition is required.
Day 1: Manali to Lamadugh 7km 3360m 4-5hrs
The first day of the trek leads through cool forests of giant deodars (Cedar), climbs gently through Manalsu valley with the Manalsu torrent for company. The walk is through pine, Texus, Mapple & Oak forest, and is full of vegetation including wild cherries and various flora to witness. Campsite in the lush green meadow of Lamadugh. Night in camp.
Day 2: Lamadugh to tosh thatch 4040m
The trail now begins to ascend steeply through woodlands and meadows. With wild alpine flowers strewn all around. The brilliant shrubs of Rhododendron and Birch pave the way to the pass after which a gradual and uphill ascend leads to the campsite at Tosh Thatch. A beautiful campsite atop with 360-degree view of Dhauladhar & Pir-panjal Mountain ranges. Night in camp.
Day 3: Tosh thatch to dohrni 3550m via Udi Zot (4310m)
After an early breakfast we hike towards the Udi Zot. The walk is on the edges of a mountain with a gradual ascend and traverse till the pass. From the pass you can have the view of Manalsu valley. A steep descend takes you all the way down to Dohri which is a perfect place to set the camp for the night.
You’ll be accompanied by shepherd and their herd here. Best part of the Dohri is that this is one of the places to witness the Mt. Deo Tibba & Indrasana peaks on pir panjal range. Spend night star gazing the stars & milky way. Night in camp.
Day 4: Dohrani- Base camp (4030m) via Seri (3850m) 6 hrs
Today’s route Is all uphill on the bank of river Manalsu. During early season you can walk on the snow bridge made on river by avalanches. It takes 4 hrs to reach the Seri, a flat ground in the middle of rocky path. Further on the snow bridge walk all the way up till the base of the Lake. Route is full of surprising waterfalls, Nalls and Himalayan flora taking your breath away.
Campsite is set at the foot of the Nilliaai lake ( blue lake ) before the last stream that we cross next day to reach the lake while acclimatization walk. Night in camp.
Day 5: Acclimatization day. Preparation and walk till the blue lake (4430m)
Day to prepare for the higher camp, after lunch walk till the blue lake for acclimatization. We cross the stream (or snow bridge) and hike uphill amidst the rocky surrounding all the way to the top of ridge to have the first glance of the blue lake. Spend your short quality time and back to camp. Night in camp.

Day 6: Load ferry to summit camp (4950m.) and back to base.
Day is long, route is tough and arduous, walk on same trail till lake, further continue ascending through boulders and moraine till you reach the glacier field. Beware of crevasses while walking over the glacier, it is mandatory to be roped up for the safety of every participants. Yours expert guide will take care of all these points of safety precautions. After a great effort you will reach to the site of summit camp where you will drop the load ferry on large magnificent glacier field. A giant Hanuman Tibba (5950m) a highest peak of Dhauladhar appear as white monument in front of you. Back to Camp by same way. Night in camp.
Day 7: Establish the summit camp.
Morning you will shift to the summit camp, Afternoon at ease, relax and be ready for next early morning attempt to summit. Night in camp.
Day 8: Summit day (5950m) 8-9h
Wake up early in the morning, after a quick breakfast, get ready to achieve the goal you have been prepared for. Once on the top you will enjoy mesmerizing view of mighty Himalayan peaks and surrounding valleys. Spend some time to content your souls and descend to the summit camp. Night camp.
Day 9: Contingency day
In case of bad weather, we keep a day for second attempt, if all goes well, this day will be used for the side trip during the trekking back to Manali.
Day 10: Back to base camp.
Back to base camp and relax that you deserve after such exertion between base and summit. Night in camp.
Day 11: Base - Dohrani Back (6 hrs)
After an early breakfast we trek back to our previous location, “Dohrni” and set the camp for the night. spend your time taking pictures and exploring the surrounding and hearing the stories from the shephards. Night in the camp.
Day 12: Dohrani - Tosh Thatch (6h30hrs)
Today we hike back up all the way up to Udi zot which will consume 3-4hrs of your day, further to it trek continuously till we reach Tosh Tatch. We set our camps here for the night and enjoy the sunset and view of Pir Panjal range. Night in camp.
Day 13: Tosh Thatch- Rani Suit Lake (3850m/ 4-5hrs)
Today we will visit our next destination which is Rani sui Lake. We trek same way back till we reach Khandpari and then take the route to Rani sui Lake. We have plenty of time to spend at the lake and exploring the surrounding and the view that it offers. Night in camp.
Day 14: Rani Sui to Sanchal Village & Drive to Manali
Today we’ll start early and trek toward south of the lake all the way to Sanchal village, from where a car will drive you all the way to Manali, where yourexpedition ends. Njght in hotel.
Day 15: Departure:
Check out at 12 noon. One-time transfer to bus station, end of service.
