Day 1: Arrive Delhi,
Transfer to Hotel, Night in Hotel.
Day 02: Delhi-Paro
Transfer to the airport for flight to Paro, Most spectacular flight you may ever have taken over high mountainous range. Assistance upon arrival and transfer to the hotel. After noon visit of Drukgyel Dzong fortress, rest time at leisure.
Day 03: Explore Paro
Morning sightseeing includes. The Ta Dzong National Museum considered to be one of the best natural and historic artifacts; 2-3 hour hike to Taktsang or the famous ‘Tiger’s Nest’ is a memorable spiritual journey. It was here that the great tantric master Guru Padmasanbhava flew in from Tibet on a Tiger to bring Buddhist teachings to Bhutan, Rest time for shopping or simply strolling through town.
Day 04: Thimphu 50 kms.
Full day visit including Changkha Lhakhang, Folk Heritage Museum and the textile Museum. Drive to BBS tower to have a glance at the national animal of Bhutan, Takin. Also visit the panting school. Rest of the time at leisure to discover the Capital on your own. Night in hotel.
Day 05: Thimphu – Gantey (B/L/D) 140 kilometers, 05 hours
Drive over Dochu La Pass at 3125 mtrs. A large chorten and a forest of prayer flag greet you. Enroute visit the ancient Wangdi Dzong. Gangtey Gonpa is perched a top a small hill that rises from the valley floor. And is also the winter home for the famous Black Necked Cranes who migrate here from Tibet .Upon arrival check in at the hotel and stay for the night.
Day 06: Gantey – Bumthang (B/L/D) 193 kilometers, 07 hours
Road goes over Pele La Pass (3300m) to reach Chendebji Chorten, enroute visit Trongsa Dzong, drive over Yuto La Pass (3400m) to reach the most beautiful valley in Bhutan, Bumthang. Night in hotel.
Day 7/8: Bumthang (B/L/D)
Visit Jampey Lhakhang is one of the oldest monastery in Bhutan built in 07th century. Kuje Lhakhang is where Guru Rinpoche left the imprint of His body in the cave He was meditating. Tamsing Monastery is the private monastery where we can wash our sin and Jakar Dzong. If time permits we will take an excursion to Thangbi Village where we will visit a very old Lhakhang belonging to the Karma kadju Sect. Night in Guest House.
Day 09: Bumthang – Punakha (B/L/D) 214 kilometers, 07 hours
Same way back, on the way visit Chhimi Lhakhang, the temple of the Divine Monk, Drukpa Kuenley. The approach to the temple is an easy walk through the village. Night in hotel.
Day10: Punakha – Paro (B/L/D) 125 kilometers, 04 hours
Visit the Punakha Dzong, built in 1637 by Shabdrung, the spiritual and temporal ruler of Bhutan prior to the present dynasty. After the visit depart for Paro. Upon arrival check in hotel and stay for the night.
Day11: Flight to Delhi
On arrival transfer to hotel, rest time at leisure.
Day 12: Departure
Sight scene in Delhi. Evening transfer to airport and flight to onward destination.
