Kumbh Mela takes place at four places Prayag (Allahabad), Haridwar, Ujjain, and Nashik after every twelve years subject to the planetary movements. Millions of people attend festival on a single day. A ritual bath at a predetermined time and place is the major event of this festival. Other activities include religious discussions, devotional singing, feeding in mass of holy men/women and pilgrims, the poor and religious assemblies where doctrines are debated and standardised.

While travelling you will explore some of the wonderful sites in heart of India. From the capital city of Indian subcontinent you will proceed to visit a wonderful piece of the Mughal art ’’ The Taj Mahal of Agra”. Gwalior where Music Maestro Miya Tansen, has borne and fort here considered as impregnable fortress. KHAJURAHO one of the world's great artistic wonders, Allahabad to participate the Ardha Kumbha Mela and immerse completely in to the holy festival, is very important pilgrimage centre due to confluence of three holy rivers among them one remain mystery. Chunar fort once the capital of Vikramaditya, the king of Ujjain religious capital of India “Varanasi “ is one of the oldest inhabited city of the world. Floating in holi river, visiting the different ghats you will witness cremation rites, devotees paying homage to almighty Ganga, taking dips to wash away their sin. Evening participating the Arti “ the religious Chant” to feel the inner solace and peace when pilgrims and local gathered and offers prayer to mother Gange. Excursion to Sarnath where Budha announce his premier sermon to his 5 disciples.

Day 1: Arrive Delhi by evening

By evening arrive at New Delhi, India’s capital, where you are welcome on arrival at the airport and escorted to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2: Visit Delhi

Visit to Lotus Temple, Grand Minaret and Humaun Tomb. A glimpse to India gate, president house and Connaught place. Night in hotel.

Day 3: Delhi- Agra 220 kms.

Drive to Agra, upon arrival proceed for sightseeing, visit world famous Taj Mahal, built by Shah Jehan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal. It took 22 years and 20,000 people to build the Taj Mahal. Red fort, evening dinner in local restaurant where you will taste the mughlai cuisine. Night in hotel.

Day 4: Agra – Gwalior 120kms

After breakfast leave to Gwalior, An historical place of Madhya Pradesh is blessed with Classical Music Maestro Miya Tansen. Post lunch proceed for sightseeing, which includes Gwalior Fort, Rising 100m above the town, the fort hill is about 3 km in length. Its width varies from nearly 1 kms to less than 200m. Later visit the Jain Sculptures & Sasbahu Temples. Evening free at leisure. Night in hotel

Day 5: Gwalior – Sonagir – Datia – Orchha, 140 kms

In the morning, after breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Orchha. En-route visit the enchanting Jain temples at Sonagir and the fortress palace at Datia. Afternoon reach at Orchha, city was founded in the 16th century by the Bundela Rajput chieftain of the succeeding rulers, the most notable was Raja Bir Singh Ji Deo who built the exquisite Jehangir Mahal, In the Laxminarayan Temple and Raj Mahal vibrant murals encompassing a variety of religious and secular themes .Visit the Jehangir Mahal & the Ram Raja Temple, one can witness the Aarti (prayer) ceremony held in the evening. Evening free at leisure. Night in hotel.

Day 6: Orchha – Khajuraho, 180 kkms

Morning complete the remaining part of visit if is left, later leave to Khajuraho which is famous for its beautiful temples with sculptures inspired from the ancient text of love – The Kaamasutra. After check-in visit the temples those were built in the short span of a hundred years, from 950 - 1050 AD, in a truly inspired burst of creativity. Of the 85 original temples, 22 have survived until today to constitute one of the world's great artistic wonders. Night in hotel.

Day 7: At Khajuraqho

Morning after breakfast proceed for half day sightseeing of Some of the famous temples of Kandariya Mahadev, Chausath Yogini, Chitragupta, Vishwanath, Lakshamana, Duladeo, Chaturbhuj and Parsvanath. Evening free at leisure. Night in hotel.

Day 8: Khajuraho to Chhitrakoot

One of the very important spiritual legacy be matched with few cities in India, it has great religious and mythological significance where Lord Rama spent most of his time out of 14 years during his exile. Visit Param Kutir, a cottage built by Lord Lakshamana for Lord Rama and Sita, Janki Kund, A bathing place built for Sita on bank of Mandakini river to take bath during exile , whereas Ram Ghat is the bathing place for Lord Rama, Now a days, devotees use to visit this place for peace and meditation practice. It is a scared spot where evening arti is performed Sphatic Shila is a rock structure which bears the footmarks believed that these footmarks belongs to lord Rama. Night in hotel.

Day 9 : Chhitrakoot to Prayag Raj (Allhabad)- 120 kms. VENUE OF KUMBHA MELA . Morning drive to Prayag Raj (Allahabad) via Chunar Fort – said to be established by Maharaja Vikramaditya, the king of Ujjain, located in the district of Mirzapur. Puranic name of Chunar said to name was Charanadri as Lord Vishnu had incarnated as Vaman in the dynasty of Great king Bali. Further leave to Prayag Raj to visit the Triveni Sangam-confluence of three rivers- Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati. Prayag Raj also known as Prayag and is an important pilgrimage centre of the Hindus. It is one of the four venues where "Kumbh Mela" take place. Evening time at leisure to enjoy and festival preparation and participate auspicious Arti at an ancient temple. Night in camp / hotel.

Day 10: Prayag Raj

Wake up early in the morning to join the ceremonies and especially to the grand bath (Royal bath) of the sadhus and their gurus, the Mahants, then pilgrims followed by visit Asharams Or Akharas built temporarily for the festive period, meet ascetics ( Sadhu ) sub. to their wishes to communicate with tourist, certain group of Ascetic does not accept and certain may accept to communicate. Night in camp. During the Kumba mela, there will be different bathing dates from 13 januray to 26 February 2025 and each holy bath has different significant meaning.

Day 11: Prayag Raj.

At peaceful rhythm Last day to immerse in the spiritual festive ambiance. Take boat ride at Sangam (confluence) to experience the spirit of the Kumbh Mela diferently. Visit different Akharas, choose one among many to listen the spiritual leader. Night in camp.

Day 12: Prayag Raj –Varanasi / Chunar Fort (160 Kms, 4-5h)

Morning drive to Varanasi via Chunar Fort – said to be established by Maharaja Vikramaditya, the king of Ujjain, located in the district of Mirzapur. Further drive to Varnasi, The oldest city in the world, the city of Nirvana and Ghats where people still have their daily prayers and rituals, Temples and centuries old culture. Rarely does any place influence the life of a religious community in such totality as Varanasi, an ultimate pilgrimage, This eternal city is one of the most important pilgrimage cities of the world. Evening leave to the Ghats passing by Kashi Vishwanath temple to attend the Arti ( worship – Puja ), is a Hindu religious ritual or Puja when thousands of local and pilgrims gathered and offer prayer to mother Gange. Its a treat to watch and one can feel the inner solace and peace after attending the Arti, Night in hotel.

Day 13: Varanasi

Morning boat ride along the river Ganges Explore the culture diversity of riverbank by undertaking a boat tour is an enchanting experience. 1 hour boating tour starts from Dashashwamedh Ghat to Manikarnika Ghat , experience the process of prayers, witness daily routine of pilgrims paying homage to the almighty Gange. It is the Ghats of Varanasi, which completes the concept of divinity & pure bliss. Day to visit Bharat Mata Temple, Sankat Mochan or Hanuman Temple. Durga Temple and take outer glimpse on Benaras Hindu University. Night in hotel.

Day 14: Varanasi and excursion to Sarnath

Day to explore Sarnath: here Lord Buddha preached his first sermon more than 2500 years ago. The site is marked by the massive Dhamek Stupa, which is believed to date back to 500 AD. The remains of the great Ashoka Pillar still stand before the main shrine. Visit Sarnath museum with some of the finest specimens of Buddhist sculpture. Late afternoon back to hotel. By evening free to stroll o Ghat . Night in hotel.

Day 15: Varanasi –Delhi / Departure

Transfer to airport, flight to Delhi. Visit Delhi as per time availability. Evening transfer to international airport for your onward flight.
