Multi Activity Trek

Adventure trek in western himalaya

We organise an adventure trek in region of western Himalayas in healthy environment where it ensures the development of person/child on the basis of discipline, mental co- ordination, spirit of team work and physical development. At the same time you will get opportunities to explore the rich culture of valley, its anti-seism architecture and ancients temples. Majority of habitants are farmer, Minority of Buddhist are migrated from neighbouring distt. and from Tibet. Both communities lives harmoniously.


Day 01: Arrival Delhi

Day 02: Delhi to Manali (2000 m) 16 hours

Day 03: Explore Manali: Sight seen

Day 04: Manali to Solang (2480 m.) 4 hours. Explore the village life. Trek

Day 05: Solang to Dhundi (2800 m.) 2.30 hours.

Day 06: Visit Beas kund (3950 m.) Full day trek

Day 07: Dhundi to Shaga Dugh (2800 m.) 5 hours. Jungle craft and, Burma bridge,Trek

Day 08: Climb to Patalsu (4470 m.) Climb trekking peak.

Day 09: Shaga Dugh to Rahla fall (2900 m.) 4 hours. Rock climbing, Rappelling Trek

Day 10: Full day

Day 11: Full day Skiing, Or trek night in same camp

Day 12: Back to Manali, Trek

Day 01: Arrival Delhi,

Reception in the air port, transfer to the hotel, O/N in the hotel.

Day 02: Delhi to Manali (2000 m) 16 hours.

Full day sight seen in Delhi, evening by night comfortable (Semi sleeper) bus to Manali, night in bus.

Day 03: Explore Manali: Sight seen.

Arrive Manali, transfer to hotel, later Visit Naggar castle, Roerich art gallery, Hindu Temple’s and, Vashisht temple and hot spring O/N in hotel.

Day 04: Manali to Solang (2480 m.) 4 hours. Explore the village life. Trek

Trek starts. The trail goes through several villages, apple orchards and cultivated fields. On the way you will visit the temples of Hindu deities, where ancient architecture is still maintained. After noon reached at Solang. This valley is well known as winter ski resort as well assummer paradise. Visit around, O/N in camp.

Day 05: Solang to Dhundi (2800 m.) 2.30 hours. Trek and adventure activities as Monkey crawling, Jhumaring Trek

Easy walk through the forest of Pine, Mapple, Walnut, Silver fir and Oak. West of Dhundi the highest mountain of the Dhauladhar (Hanuman Tibba 5950 m.) is erected, on the east (Deo Tibba 6001m, and Indra san 6100 m.) can be seen if the weather is in your favor. Afterestablishing the Monkey crowing and Jhumaring till evening.

Day 06: Visit Beas kund (3950 m.) Full day trek

Trail goes over the complete snow field in early season otherwise on meadow, boulders and glacier flied, after 2 hours of gradual trek, now short uphill track and short traverse over the glacier field will bring you to the magic place in the lap of peaks around named: Hanuman Tibba, Ladakhi, Manali, Mukerbhe, Sheti Dhar and Friendship, and is ornamented by cascading water falls and crystal clear water lake. As per the mythology of Hindu the name of the place derived from the Beas Rishi (Saint) who meditated here and wrote the epic of Mahabharata. Same way back to thecamp.

Day 07: Dhundi to Shaga Dugh (2800 m.) 5 hours. Jungle craft and, Burma bridge, Trek

Easy walk. The trail goes through lush forest via the left bank of the river. On the way several kinds of birds and black bear can be seen (at least foot prints!) Campsite is surrounded by the forest of the oak in isolate place.

Day 08: Climb to Patalsu (4470 m.) Climb trekking peak.

It is a long and hard day, but it excites to enjoy the view of entire valley, far distances mountain ranges and to be on the top of the highest point of the trek. By evening back to the camp. For climbing, Ice axe, rope and seat harness will be provided and restshoes and gaiters has to be brought by each individual. Its an easy peak with large slope required minimum of equipment in Spring whilst in summer and autumn only Trekking shoes, Ice axe and common rope is required.

Day 09: Shaga Dugh to Rahla fall (2900 m.) 4 hours. Rock climbing, Rappelling Trek

Traverse to Palchan, later short walk on the road, leave the road and be again in the nature. The beaten track will bring you to the beautiful camp site of Rahla beside the stream, after Lunch, Rock climbing, Rappelling till evening.

Day 10: Full day

River crossing and crowling (Fly over) night in same camp.

Day 11: Full day Skiing, Or trek night in same camp.

Skiing in this part of Himalaya is a real alpine style where as Tele siege doesn’t exist, one have to carry their own ski to go on the top of slope and ski down. If snow is melted, in that case trek in nature in the same region where you will enjoy studying early blooming flora and birds watching.

Day 12: Back to Manali, Trek

Full day trek on higher region of Manali, evening reach at Manali, night in hotel in old village.

Day 13: Deparrture to Delhi

Free day, afternoon transfer to bus station by night bus to Delhi, night in bus.

Day 14: Departure on Onward destination

Arrive Delhi in the morning, half day sight seen, evening transfer to airport for onward flight.

    Cancellation

    All the cancellation must be in written and signed by the person who signed the booking form and will be effective from the date of the reception by the company. 1: 60 days or more before departure: The agency will refund the entire paid amount to his client deducting the registration fee (€ 40 per persons or equivalent in other currency), bank charges subject to the bank policies, when booking domestic flights, the Cancellation fee subject to airline policies at present or if the tickets are non- refundable in that case the full amount of the ticket will be retained. The hotels are reserved and must be paid in advance; the company will apply the cancellation policies of hotels. Cancelation charge for train tickets and other ground transport and related services if needed to be booked in advance. Hence the remaining amount will be refunded after deducting all above cancelation policies applied for different services. 2: 40 Days before departure: The agency will refund the 50% of paid amount to his client deducting the registration fee (€ 40 per persons or equivalent in other currency), bank charges subject to the bank policies, when booking domestic flights, the Cancellation fee subject to airline policies at present or if the tickets are non- refundable in that case the full amount of the ticket will be retained. The hotels are reserved and must be paid in advance; the company will apply the cancellation policies of hotels. Hence the remaining amount will be refunded after deducting all above cancelation policies applied for different services. 3: Less than 30 days before departure: The agency will be obliged to withhold the full amount of the deposit paid by the customer. In this case, the customer must inform their insurance as soon as possible and provide as much documentation to support the cancellation of trip. It is therefore h3ly advised to take out cancellation insurance to cover such expenses.

    Unexpected circumstances

    Itinerary / hotels are sub. to change in case of strike, civil war threatens, you may be will lose expected places you have prepared for but will explore unexpected and for sure will not disappointed. In case of Vehicle break down another mode of transport will be managed at the earliest possible, In that case you are requested to keep patience and co-operate with the situation. It is very much possible that Pony / Mule can disappear during the night when get scared by wild animal such as wild bear Or wolves and can be impossible to trace out, in that case getting new team of pony / horse cannot immediately arranged. You can loose one or more days to get arranged mode such of transport. In case unavailability of pony / horse tour itinerary can be curtailed or changed completely from the trekking to cultural tour for the remaining days. We need your co-operation to understand the present situation and contribution to cover extra expanses occurred due to such circumstance.

    Liability

    The Company cannot be made liable for the consequences of weather condition, flight cancellations or delay of bus arrival in Manali , war or threat of civil war, strikes, industrial action, political unrest or any other force majeure, unusual or unforeseen circumstance. The company reserves the right to use alternate transport, or vary the itinerary if breakdown, sickness or any other force major. Any additional that result, such as extra hotel accommodation, flight or road transport will be on your charge and must be paid directly at the spot. Please understand, there are certain hazards involved in your adventurous and culture holidays which you must accept at your own risk. The company will not be liable for any illness major or minor injury, death sustained during neither the trip, nor it will be liable for any uninsured losses of your property and other losses during the trip. No refund will be made for unused services and in case of no show of the participants before starting the trip It is strongly advised that clients take out insurance to cover the unexpected and cancellation charges

    Accommodation and meals

    Accommodation is based on 3 star category in Delhi, Manali standard or Charming, While trekking you will be assisted by kitchen team with all necessary items including two men spacious tent, mattress, dining tents from 4 persons onward, toilet tents and all necessary items. Our chef will prepare verities of Indian, Chinese and Continental vegetarian and non vegetarian meals, Chefs on trek are used to cook for the western guest and pay their attention to dose the spice, Breakfast and dinner will be served at camp, lunch is always packed, Afternoon snacks is served with hot beverages as of tea and coffee.

    Mode of Transport

    You will be travelling by regular Volo buses between Delhi- Manali –Delhi, for short transfer or during sight seen Sub. You will use different mode of transport as per the number of person in group, for 2 to 4 Toyota Innova / Scorpia or Zylo, for 5 and more than 5 persons Tempo travelers or mini bus will be provided. All vehicle will be air-conditioned, except in hilly area air-condition of any vehicle cannot be regularly used due to steep uphill drive, so you have to co-operate with. During the trek, your baggage will be transported by horse / Mule.. Road: Road in this part of Himalaya is rough, in region of Kullu- Manali you can face land slide due to rainfall from July till mid Sep. and can be blocked for hours or a day, you may miss the places expected to visit, or will visit the unexpected places, to regulate the situation the team at the spot will do the best possible at the moment. Road in India are being widen So please don’t compare the driving time as estimated in developed nation. 6: First aid kit: Preparation of relief of sun burn, Lip salve, Anti septic cream, Antihistamine cream (for relief of insect bites), Anti diarrhea (flagyl or any other), Anti headach (diamox, aspirin, paracitamol, zimalgin), Anti vomiting (avomin), For stomachach (baralgan,trigan or other diagnose) Dettol, washproof dettol plaster, Bandage and cotton, Balm, Anti cramp spray, Pills to purify the water, Scisor and knife are must in the medical kit. According to your physical condition you are requested to consult your doctor to complete your medical kit. Apart from that HIMALAYAN FRONTIERS also provides an additional medical kit including oxygen cylinder and Diamox with each group. Special precaution is taken to pack some medicine to deal with Prevention from Altitude sickness.

    Warm jacket type of gore taxe or else, Pull over, Trek suite, Raincoat, trekking and rock climbing shoes, Camp shoes, Gloves, pairs of warm socks + normal socks, Sunglasses / Spare glasses or contact lenses, Sun hat + cap, sun cream, stick to protect the lips, long and short sleeves Shirts- Loose trousers, breathable water proof trousers , Washing kit, toilet kit, A small sewing kit, Safety pins, torch or flash light with spare batteries, Camera with spare memory cards and batteries, battery Charger , day sac, water bottle, pair of gaiters in early and late season, walking sticks if one required, personal medical kit as per your medical advisor. Sleeping bag (-6/-10°C ) inflatable pillow if you required, A light towel, a knife, a role of toilet paper, a large plastic bag to protect your clothing inside the bag, wet tissue paper, fanny pack to keep safely your important docs as passport, insurance paper, credit cards, money, lighters, wooden pencils and pen, string of 4-55 meters to dry the clothing or other purpose, English –Hindi dictionary to learn the important words to greet and to communicate with locals and a note book can be useful to engrave your memory in it. All technical equipment such as ropes, Carabineers, Ascender / Descender will be provided by us.
