Day 1: Arrival Delhi
Reception at the international airport; transfer to the hotel and overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 2: Delhi to Darjeeling via Bagdogra (2,135m)
Transfer to Domestic airport for flight to Bagdogra. Assistance on arrival at Bagdogra and 3 hours’ drive to Darjeeling, built by Britishers in mid of 18th century. Today, Darjeeling is an important tourist destination of West Bengal, also known for the world class tea. On arrival, check-in to the hotel and rest of the time at your leisure.
Day 3: Darjeeling
Today, we will drive very early around 4.30 am to tiger hill to see the dawn on Kangchanjunga (8,548m). A magnificent view of massive mountains and other Himalayan peaks can be seen from here. Back to the hotel for the breakfast; take ride on world famous toy train to Ghoom monastery one of the most famous monasteries in Darjeeling; Botanical Gardens and Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. After lunch stroll in the tea garden, evening at leisure and overnight at hotel.
Day 4: Darjeeling to Manebhanjang to Tonglu (3070meters), 4 hours; Trek- 1
After two hours trek we reach Manebhanjang, inhabited by Buddhist Sherpas. An awesome view of the trekking route can be enjoyed here; an uphill trek through dense forest with variety of wild flowers in spring season is unforgettable. After 11kms trek, we reach Tonglo campsite.
Day 5: Tonglu to Kalipokhari via Gairibas (3170 meters) 4 hours; Trek- 2
Trail goes through bamboo bushes and small villages. Now take an uphill path which leads us through the forest of Rhododendron to the campsite.
Day 6: Kalipokhari-Sandakphu (3636 meters) 4 hours; Trek -3
Two-three hours road descends to Bikhebhangang, also called the Valley of Poison. Now a steep climb of 4kms towards the campsite and commands one of the most spectacular views of the valley.
Day 7: Sandakphu-Phalut (3600 meters) 5 hours; Trek- 4
One of the most beautiful treks through the forest, after 4 hours we reach at Sabarkum, the trail passes by a beautiful house located on the ridge to Phalut.
Day 8: Phalut-Ramam 5 hours; Trek- 5
Almost 15kms trek, now trail descends through the forest of pines and chestnut to Gorkhey Khola (stream), a beautiful place for lunch. After the lunch, we leave to campsite via Samandin.
Day 9: Ramam-Rimbik; Trek- 6
Gradual walk in beginning, then descend to Sirikhola, now uphill path for about ½ km and again an easy walk till Rimbik, where one can have trekkers hut or camp for overnight stay.
Day 10: Rimbik-Darjeeling
Four hours drive to Darjeeling; check-in to the hotel and afternoon at your leisure, overnight in the hotel.
Day 11: Darjeeling-Gangtok (1,600mtrs) 4- 5 hours
Drive on the windy road through several villages where farmers can be seen cultivating their fields; we reach the Capital town by afternoon; check- in to the hotel, evening at leisure.
Day 12: Gangtok
Excursion to Rumtek Monastery (Dharma Chakra Centre) 24kms from Gangtok is the seat of the Kagyu order. Later visit the Botanical garden; after lunch stroll in the Bazar, overnight at the hotel.
Day 13: Gangtok-Bagdogra-Delhi
Two hours of drive to Bagdogra, flight to Delhi, transfer to the hotel, overnight at the hotel.
Day 14: Departure
Sight seen at Delhi, by the evening transfer to the airport and flight to onward destination; end of the service.
