    Day 1: Arrival in Cochin.

    Day 2: Kochi to Munar : 153Kms.3.30 hours,

    Day 3: Munnar, 1600 to 1650 mtrs, 8 kms, 5h, Trek 1, 4-5 hours.

    Day 4: Transfert a Silent Valley, 2300mtrs,8kms, 5h-6 hours. Trek 2

    Day 5: Rhodo valley and Meesapulimala Peak: 2200, 8kms ,4 hours both way. Trek 3

    Day 6: Top station camp. 1900 mtrs, 16 kms, 6-7 hours trek 4

    Day 7: Top to central camp ..1700mtrs., 6kms, 4 hours, trek 5

    Day 8: Central camp to Mundhan .300 mtrs, 15 kms, trek 6

    Day 9: Mundhan to Madurai , trek 7, 2h30 drive

    Day 10: Madurai- Kumarakoram via Thekkady . 280 kms . 7h of drive

    Day 11: Kumarakoram – Back water -10 kms

    Day 12: Allepy- Cherai Beach-85 kms.

    Day 13: Cherai

    Day 14: Departure: at 4h30 A.M.in the morning


    Detailed Itinerary

    Day 1: Arrival in Cochin.

    Arrival in Cochin in the morning at 9h35, and check in hotel from 12 noon onward. Cochin is situated between the Oman’s sea and many small islands. It has been a Portuguese, then Dutch prosperous territory on the silk and spices road. It is a kind of magical place : you will walk in the old streets, visit the Saint François’s church, the synagogue, the Dutch Palace, you will discover the fishermen coming back from fishing and their huge and famous nets fixed on the shore . In the evening, you will be able to see a Kathakhali performance (extra, in option). Night in Cochin .

    Day 2: Kochi to Munar : 153Kms.3.30 hours,

    In the morning visit rapidly the left of monuments, and leave to the mountains of Munnar for celebration of 31st December.

    MUNNAR : breathtakingly beautiful , a haven of peace and tranquility — the idyllic tourist destination in God’s own country. Set at an altitude of 1600 meters in Idukki district, Munnar was the favored summer resort of the erstwhile British rulers in the colonial days. Unending expanse of tea plantations – pristine valleys and mountains- exotic species of flora and fauna in its wild sanctuaries and forests – aroma of spice scented cool air .Munnar has all these and more. It’s the place you would love to visit – it’s the place you would wish never to leave. We will enjoy afternoon to explore the region. Visit tea.and cardamom plantation is a treat for a naturalist with a vast variety of evergreen trees under the shade of which the cardamom is cultivated . One can meet the peoples ( Women ) working on the slope of tea plantation . Night in Munar .

    Day 3: Munnar, 1600 to 1650 mtrs, 8 kms, 5h, Trek 1, 4-5 hours.

    Morning take a short drive to Nagarmudi, a tiny hamlet, from where we will start a day trek , A trail begins with gradual ascent passing by the lush green tea gardens , cardamom and coffee plantations which leads to the top of Seven Malai hills. Enjoy a bewitching view of valley including Chittrapuram Dam and Munar . Later we descend by the same way to the road head and than take a short drive to Munar, Afternoon tea museum can be visited ( sub to time availability ) Evening discovered the bazzar, overnight in a hotel.

    Day 4: Transfert a Silent Valley, 2300mtrs,8kms, 5h-6 hours. Trek 2

    A breathtaking road for one hour to join the starting point of the trek , trek leads through Rhodo valley, that bloom in month of march, Trail goes through the tea hills , First part of the trek is easy, once tea planatations are crossed than route gradually ascend toward the hill. Enjoy the magnificant view of surounding from the top of the hill, after lunch descend to the camp site. After lunch descend and before the camp a 30mnts hike to the camp site.

    Day 5: Rhodo valley and Meesapulimala Peak: 2200, 8kms ,4 hours both way. Trek 3

    Half day walk to Meesapulimala Peak (2635m), this is second highest in south India. Trail goes up through grassy land to reach up to open ridges that leads to Meesapulima Peak., Reaching top which is also the border between Tamil Nadu and Kerala, enjoy the breath-taking views from top. later descend to the camp.

    Day 6: Top station camp. 1900 mtrs, 16 kms, 6-7 hours trek 4

    Long day of trek through plantations ,enjoy the breathtakingly scenery. This is plateau of the Western Ghats is also home to many endemic species of flora and fauna, from the top We can view some villages and lakes,. Night at Top Station.

    Day 7: Top to central camp ..1700mtrs., 6kms, 4 hours, trek 5

    Trail descend steeply through coffee and the world highest Kolukumalai tea plantation , new Mudhuvans tribal village of Kezhmuttap those has been settled by the government here and working in the pea estate .as its a tough route , those who are scared of steep hilly trail can avoid it to following by the trail that staff members and pony man will take from top camp to central camp , its a very short walk but on arrival in camp you can entertain your self by visiting around .

    Day 8: Central camp to Mundhan .300 mtrs, 15 kms, trek 6

    Trail leads via cotton plantations and dense forests ,descend through village of Central Station and Kotakuddi. passing a waterfall where can be stop for rest a while . Trail goes down and you will reach in the valley , the rich fertile land abandoned by rice field , coconut and mango grove plantations. Trek ends at Mundhan, Here vehicle will pick you to drop at the last camp site ,

    Day 9: Mundhan to Madurai , trek 7, 2h30 drive

    Short walk till the road head , later head to Madurai , Visit the Minakashi devi temple. It is one of the most extraordinary worship place in India, and the oldest city in Tamil Nadu. Its gigantic temple is dedicated to a female goddess Meenakshi, the goddess with fish eyes. One can get lost while visiting number of rooms and corridors, discovering the sumptuous sculptured pillars : for sure the devotion of architecture is deep and interesting. Night in hotel.

    Day 10: Madurai- Kumarakoram via Thekkady . 280 kms . 7h of drive

    After Early breakfast visit flower market and drive a head by Spectacular road traversing several towns of Tamilnadou to the hills of the western Ghat till the village of Thekkady. Take lunch in local restaurant at this beautiful hill station or nearby , further drive to Kumarakoram, check in hotel by late afternoon, if time permit take stroll in the villages nearby kumarakoram, night in hotel .

    Day 11: Kumarakoram – Back water -10 kms

    Drive to starting point of Back water , On arrival board in house boat to spend a days at the peaceful rhythm of the Kerala Backwaters, visiting the canals by boat, stroll by foot in the villages in through paddy fields and the coconut trees’, Night in A/C boat. with all meals.

    Day 12: Allepy- Cherai Beach-85 kms.

    After back water trip transfer to Cherai beach, check in at 12 noon, Day at Leisure on one of the most beautiful beaches in Kerala, it is ideal for swimming, surfing and sunbathing .night in hotel.

    Day 13: Cherai 

    Visit nearby typical Kerala village to explore the charm of local life , surrounded by paddy fields and lush green coconut groves , one can witness coconut tapper creeping high to fetch the another attraction is the ‘Poyil’ a large inland lake separated from the ocean by only a narrow sandbar. While strolling observe the Chinese fishing net lined at the end of the beach , one can take chance to get the glimpse of Dolphins springing out and dive back , fishermen activities by evening and in the morning. Rest time at leisure on beach,

    Day 14: Departure: at 4h30 A.M.in the morning

    Early morning transfer to International Airport of Cochin , 26 kms. Of distance between Cherai and cochin airport , Return flight by EK 0523 DXB ( Dubai )
