Trek to Goeche la starts from Yuksum, the first capital of Sikkim established in 17th century, first day of trek leads through dense tropical forest high over the deep gorge to the tiny hamlet of Tsokha, further uphill trail avenue by rhododendron and silver fir trees to the tree less terrain of Dznogari , Once getting higher snowy peaks appears one after other, follow the splashy mountain stream to a large alpine meadow, From here you will get a incredible view of a huge glacier field and massif of high mountains appears as last Shangrila, Subject to season you can encounter the shepherd and their herds of yaks , across the crystal clear mountain lake before being at Goechela pass to get the close view of mighty Kanchenjunga.

RUMTEK MONASTERY: The monastery of more recent construction is of Tibetan traditional architecture. In May, ritual sacred dances take place there (similar to those of Hemis in Ladakh and in those of Tame and Tengboche in Nepal). Since the end of the 60s, after the arrival of its holiness the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa, the center contains some of the unique religious writings to the world as well as religious objects. Traditional in its conception, it is an original reproduction of the head office of Kagyu in the Tibet.
DAY 04: Gangtok to Pemayangtse (2137 mtrs.) 124 kms. (Pelling), 6 hours.
After breakfast drive to Pemayangtse, night in hotel, day at leisure.
DAY 05: Pemayangtse to Yuksom 1880 mtrs, 53 kms .via Khechupelri lake.
Visit Pemayangtse monastery one of the oldest in the state. Khechupelri Lake, is considered as one of the sacred lakes of the state both by the Budhist and Hindus. Evening arrive at Yuksum, night in camp or lodge.
MONASTERE DE PEMAYANGTSE: Established by Lhatsun Chempo, one of the Lamas having participated in the consecration of the first one Chogyal ( religious Monarch) of Sikkim, it is up to the nyngmapa sect of the Tibetan Buddhism. Originally, it had been built to shelter monks of high invoice, the pure of the pure. In the monastery there is a wooden structure which depicts the celestial palace of Maha Guru ( Sang-tok-Palri) which is a masterpiece of Dungzin Rimpoche.
SANGACHOLING MONASTERY: The Monastery of Sangacholing is situated in the summit over Pelling and over the monastery of Pemayangtse, it was built in 1697 af. J.-C and is considered as one of the oldest monasteries of the state.
LAKE OF KHECHUPELRI: The Lake of Khechupelri is considered as one of the sacred lakes of the state by the Buddhists and the Hindus. The lake is hidden in the thick forest. A legend says that birds authorize nobody, not even a sheet(leaf), to float on the surface of the lake. A lot of people of the valley comes to make it a pilgrimage. We can perceive the inhabitants who collect(harvest) cardamom black, one of the resources of economic head teacher(main clause) of the inhabitants of the Sikkim.
YUKSUM: Yuksum is set in the middle of a magnificent landscape. According to certain historic papers, the first one Chogyal of the kingdom of Sikkim was dedicated to it in 1641 af. J.-C by three Lamas. The proofs of the ceremony of consecration are always intact to Norbugang Chortan in the form of stony seats and of an imprint of the foot of the big Lama on a rock. Because the history of the state began in this place, this place is now considered sacred by people of Sikkim.
MONASTERE DE DUBDI: The monastery of Dubdi is the first monastery established after the ceremony of consecration of the chogyal first one.
DAY 06: Yuksum to Tsokha (2900 mtrs), 5 hours. Trek 1
First day of trek will take you through dense verdant semi tropical forests occasionally crossed by crystal clear rivulets and cascading waterfalls up to priag chu. After one hour steady climb reach to Tsokha a small Tibetan amlet where first glimpse of the mountains can be seen, night in tent.
DAY 07: Tsokha to Dzongri (3850 mtrs) 6 hours. Trek 2
Up hill path paved with wooden logs and stone slaves ,avenue with fascinating Rhododendron. Lunch stop at Phedang, further uphill to Dzongri which commands a panoramic view of snow caped peaks, night in tent.
DAY 08: Dzongri to La Mini (4050 mtrs) 7 hours, Trek 3
After breakfast short climb to the ridge below Dzongri top than easy path leads through the pasture land. Steep descend to the parachu and gradual walk in the beautiful valley tillThangsing carpeted meadow, After 0ne hours ched at shadow of mount Panduim where shepherd and milk maid lives with their flocks. campsite O/N in camp.
DAY 09: La Mini or Smithi to Goechela 4950 mtrs 6 hours both way (or view point 3 hours) back Thangsing Trek 4
Leave early morning at 4 a.m. by torch light, feel the silence of nature, gurgling of meandering streams, moment of glacier and whistling of wind. As day begins white mountains appears as a huge marble wall in front (In clear weather), First ray of dawn on the summit excite the trekkers and slowly white marbled wall transformed in volcanic lava for short moment, after having this magic spectacle get back to the Campsite.
DAY 10: La Mini or Smithi to Thangsing Trek 5
Short trek to Thangsing, on arrival establish the campsite, after lunch you will climb behind the campsite to enjoy the view of snow caped mountain and glaciers.
DAY 11: Thang – shing toTsokha, Trek 6
Same way back for an hour, now take lower trail through dense forest to avoid climbing Dzongari, O/N Camp.
DAY 12: Tsokha to Yuksum, O/N Camp. Trek 7
Same way back to Yuksum, night in camp or in lodge.
DAY 13: Yuksum to Darjeeling: 95 Kms.
Scenic drive to Darjeeling, Evening arrive at Darjeeling, night in hotel.
DAY 14: Visit Darjeeling. O/N in hotel.
One can View the early morning sunrise at the tiger hill, After breakfast the popular Ghoom monastery, Visit in tea garden, Zoological park, Nehru Institute of mountaineering.
DAY 15: Darjeeling to Bagdogra, Flight to Delhi.
Two hours drive to Bagdogra, flight to Delhi, transfer to hotel, night in hotel.
DAY 16: Departure.
