Large part of the tours is in rural and isolated area which is not that much developed for tourist purpose, hence one have to accept the minimum of comfort to explore such unexplored area.

Day 3: Nameri- Itanaggar, 210 kms / 06 hrs.

Day 4: Itanaggar-Ziro-1560 metres,-150 kms.

Day 5: Ziro —Daporijo -600 mtr. 160 km

Day 6: Daporijo-Along-300mtrs 167 kms. 6h.

Day 7: Along-Passighat , 155 mtrs, 150 m, 4h.

Day 8: Passighat-Dibrugarh- 2h, h cruise (ferry ride)

Day 9: Dibrugarh-Mon, (900 m) 170 kms, 6 hours,

Day 11: Mon— Jorhat 160 kms / 07 hrs.

Day 12: Jorhat — Nimatgarh — Majoli (2h of cruise)

Day 13: Majoli

Day 14: Majoli-Kaziranga national park 108 kms.

Day 15: Kaziranga — Guwahati – 217 kms .

Day 16: Guwahati -Delhi and Departure (no hotel in Delhi)


Day 1 : Arrived Delhi in the evening,

On arrival reception at airport, Transfer to hotel.

Day 2, Delhi-Guwahati. By air,

Flight — AI 889 Dep from Delhi —11.05 . Arrive Guwahati -13.25

Morning transfer to airport to board yours flight to Guwahati.

we proceed to Sualkuchi Village (35 kms from Guwahati) and explore the area, after lunch at Sualkuchi proceed to Nameri National Park. Evening bird watching and trekking inside the Nameri National Park. Overnight at Nameri National Park.

Nyokun, festival of Nishing Tribe 26 Feb, date fix.

Day 3 : Nameri- Itanaggar, 210 kms / 06 hrs.

Drive to Itanagar , Enroute one can visit the Nishi Tribal houses, reach Itanagar check into hotel and after refreshment visit the local market and Ita Fort. Evening at leisure, overnight at Itanagar.

Day 4 : Itanaggar-Ziro-1560 metres,-150 kms.

Morning drive to Ziro. Enroute visit Nishi villages. Ziro is almost a level valley enclosed on all sides by pine-clad low stooping hills. This is called Apatani Plateau and is famous for Paddy-cum-Fish culture.

Post lunch visit Apatani tribal villages of Dibbo- Hija and Hong village. Hong villages are to be counted as second biggest and considered the most organised tribal villages in Asia. The uniqueness of Apatani tribe is tooting on women face and its nose plug, which you will find different from other tribes. Evening stroll in local market. Overnight at Ziro.

Day 5 : Ziro —Daporijo -600 mtr. 160 km

Leave to Daporizo, inhabited by Tagin tribes , theirs faces which resembles to Chinese. Enroute you can visit Hillmiri tribal villages at Raga. Other tribes are Adi Gallong and Nishi , but most livings are Tagin Evening at leisure. Overnight at Daporizo.

Day 6 : Daporijo-Along-300mtrs 167 kms. 6h.

Drive to Along, Enroute visit Adi (Galo) tribes in Kabong village.. The tribe Adi has different sub tribes which differ from each others like Adi (Gallong, Minyong, Pasi, Padam, Bori and Boker). Afternoon visit Kabo village. . Evening free at one of the largest galo tribal village called Darka village which has more than 1500 houses made of bamboo and palm Overnight at Along.

Day 7 : Along-Passighat , 155 mtrs, 150 m, 4h.

Drive to Pasighat—inhabited by Adi (Minyong) tribe. Enroute visit the Adi Galong tribe and enjoy the great view of the confluence of Siang and Siyom rivers, which is the origin of great river Brahmaputra. If time permits visit the local market at Passighat, evening at leisure. Overnight at Pasighat.

Day 8 : Passighat-Dibrugarh- 2h, h cruise ( ferry ride )

Drive and cruise to Dibrugarh(Assam). Crossing river Brahmaputra by country made ferry which takes five to six hours of navigation in the river Brahmaputra till Dibrugarh , It is a major town and trade centre of Upper Assam and also a major tea producing and educational centre. Explore magnificent landscapes of tea plantations and discover the colorful market , Town known for local garments products as Mulberry Silk ,cane and bamboo furniture, night in hotel .

Day 9 : Dibrugarh-Mon, (900 m) 170 kms, 6 hours,

After breakfast, drive to Mon —The land of Konyak Nagas, Where you will witness the old Konyak men often have elaborate facial tattoos and wear adornments made from boar teeth and animals horns. they were one of the great warriors among Nagas , Konyaks are ruled by hereditary chiefs known as Anghs and the institution of Anghship is only prevalent among the Konyaks. Afternoon go for a walk through the Mon Market. Overnight at Mon.

Day 10 : Mon

Leave to visit the Longwa Village ( 42 kms from the town), this is the biggest village in Mon and stretches across into neighbouring Burma. then return back for lunch. After lunch visit Chuie and Longlem Konyak tribal villages. Overnight at Mon.

Day 11 : Mon— Jorhat 160 kms / 07 hrs.

Leave to Jorhat enroute at Sibsagar visit the monuments and ruins of the Ahom Dynasty, who ruled Assam for more than six hundred years before the advent of the British, Lunch at Sibsagar and then proceed to Jorhat , passing by the nerve center of the Indian tea industry is surrounded by splendid tea gardens overnight at Jorhat.

Day 12 : Jorhat — Nimatgarh — Majoli ( 2h of cruise )

Post breakfast we will drive to Nimatighat for 12 kms and cross river Brahmaputra by ferry boat to reach Majuli Island. Majuli locates on middle of the Brahmaputra and the Subansiri rivers in Assam, is the largest river island in the world, is inhabited by Deori tribals. Overnight at Majoli.

Day 13 : Majoli

Visit Mishing tribes who were the first settlers of the island.

Majoli is a natural & cultural heritage site , housing 22 Hindu Satras or monasteries are preservation of Assamees art which kept alive through these Satras. A visiting to Majuli unfolds a variety of interesting traditional handicrafts, ethnic music and dance forms, an experience of real village life and tribal culture. Founded in the 15th century by Shankardeva, a renowned spiritual guru of Assam. Overnight at Majuli.

Day 14 : Majoli-Kaziranga national park 108 kms.

Drive to Kamalabari Ghat to cross river Brahmaputra and reach Jorhat, proceed to Kaziranga National Park ( 85 kms / 02 ½ hrs).. Post lunch jeep safari to explore the park to observe the unique one horned Rhino and other wild Animal. Overnight at Kaziranga.

Kaziranga National Park: In the heart of Assam, covering an area of 430 sq-kms, is inhabited by the world’s largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, as well as many mammals, including tigers, elephants, panthers and bears, and thousands of birds. In 1985, it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its unique natural environment.

Day 15: Kaziranga — Guwahati – 217 kms.

After an early wake up, you will be taken to the riding point in the Central Range (Kohoro) for an Elephant Ride. After game viewing ride return back to the lodge, having breakfast and drive to Guwahati. Late afternoon check in hotel. Subject to time availabilities visit Assam State Museum displaying various aspects of Assam’s culture, history and crafts., Or Sukreswar Temple famous for the Sixth Jyotirlinga of India. OR simply stroll in the Town, Overnight at the hotel .

Day 16: Guwahati -Delhi and Departure ( no hotel in Delhi )

Flight — Indigo 222 Dep. from Guwahati —11h.15 — Arrive Delhi -13h.40

Morning transfer to airport , Flight to Delhi, Subject to the time availabilities visit Delhi to, Grand Minaret, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan ( President house and passing by The Parliament House. Evening dinner in city, Transfer to airport for your flight.
