Over high passes

A high-altitude trip, over the world highest motorable road, passes through several passes, drive across the highest is Khardungala pass 5600m, the gateway to the Nubra valley and further to Siachen glacier in Karakoram range.  Trip start from the lush green valley of Kullu Manali to Semi desert valley of Lahoul to the arid zone of Ladakh. Ladakh also known as “the roof of the world” here predominantly Buddhist culture is flourished. When crossing those passes, fertile and barren valleys you will be mesmerize by pristine mountain beauty, large plateau and immense dark blue lakes hidden in the lap of Himalaya. 


Day 01: Arrive Manali (2050 meter)

Day 02: Manali – Sarchu (4290m, 220kms / 6-7hrs)

Day 03: Sarchu- Leh (3500m) over Namkila (4950m), Lachung-la (5090m). And Tanglangla – (5332m)/ 250 kms, 6-7 hrs.

Day 04: Leh: Visit: Magnetic Hill, Confluence, Shanti Stupa & Leh palace

Day 05: Leh- Nubra (3,144 m - 140 km) over Khardungla pass (5690m).

Day 06: Nubra- Pangong (4300m) 280kms/ 7-8hrs

Day 07: Pangong- Leh (230km/6-7hrs)

Day 08: Leh- Sarchu via Tanglang-La (4290m, 250 kms/6-7 hrs).

Day 09: Sarchu- Manali 230 kms, 4-5 hrs.

Day 01- Arrive Manali (2050 meter)

On arrival our representative will pick you up from bus stand and transfer to your designated hotel. Afternoon visit Manu Temple in old Manali, Hadimba Devi Temple and free visit in market. Night hotel

Day 02- Manali – Sarchu 220kms (6-7hrs)

We drive toward Atal Tunnel. Following the Chandra river valley to Keylong town the administrative headquarter of Lahoul and Spiti distt. Further drive to Jispa, a silent location of tinny hamlet located on the bank of Bhaga river. Sarchu 125 kms, 5-6 hrs. including Baralachla pass (4890m) Leave to Sarchu, short day but you are moving toward higher region when altitude gain progressively. Quick stop at the police check post of Darcha, drive further on our way up to the Baralacha pass that gives the access to arid region of Ladakh. Reach to large and beautiful plateau of Sarchu, the border between Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh where again registration of tourist is required. Night in fix camp

Day 03 - Sarchu- Leh (4290m) over Namkila 4950m, Lachung-la (5090m). And Tanglangla – 5332m. 250 kms, 6-7 hrs.

Following the astonishing beauty which nature has created in different forms, alongside the road you will. appreciate small canyons erected. Different passes adorned by prayer flags provide the magnificent views of the surrounding. Traverse the edge of Tchang-Thang plateau known as moor plain where lives the nomadic Changpa with their herds. Gradual climb to the second highest motorable pass Tanglang la 5332m. which gives access toward the Indus valley. Evening reach at Leh. Night in hotel

Day 04: Leh: Visit: Magnetic Hill, Confluence, Shanti Stupa & Leh palace

Today we visit some of main attraction of the Leh. after breakfast we drive toward Magnetic hill, visit Confluence. we return back to leh for the lunch. post lunch we visit Shanti Stupa, Leh palace and Mall road of Leh town. evening stroll around and return back to hotel for dinner and the stay.

Day 05- Leh- Nubra (3,144 m , 140 km/ 4-5hrs) over Khardungla pass (5600m).

Morning leave to Khardungala pass, the gate way to the valley of Nubra and further to Siachen glacier. Part of road is well maintained and part is dirt, occasional rivulet can increase the flow due to high melting rate of snow in summer. Pass is claimed one of the highest motorable road of the world elevating around 5600m. Once on the top of pass, you will enjoy the breathtaking view of Nubra valley, Karakoram and Himalayan mountain ranges.Descent to Khalsar (3,018 m), We continue to the large village of Samur, visit the complex of 7 temples of the 200-year-old Samstelling Gompa (beautiful frescoes and Tankhas) back to Khalsar the junction between Diskit and Samur, follow the direction toward Diskit and Hunder, one can also conduct the optional double humped camel ride at Hunder. Check in fix camp or in hotel.

Day 06- Diskit- Leh, 120 kms. 4-5h.

After breakfast drive back to Leh by same way. Afternoon reach at Leh, rest of the time at leisure. Night in hotel. Day 06- Nubra- Pangong (4300m) 280kms/ 7-8hrs Wake up early and hit the road to visit one of the highest saline water lakes, The Pangong lake. Check in at your campsite and spend the evening strolling at the lake. The lake is at Indo- Tibet border and only 40% part of lake is in Ladakh India, 50% part is in Tibet and rest is in disputed. Spending quality time at the lake, return back to your camps. Overnight at camps in Pangong Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

Day 07: Pangong- Leh (230km/6-7hrs)

Today we return back to leh, the journey takes around 6-7hrs over Chang-la, claimed to be the thired highest motoravle road in the world. On the way you will admire the fascinating mineral landscape, can encounter the herds of yak and pashmina goat grazing in high altitude graze We arrive late in the noon and spend the evening at leisure or you can explore the mall road of Leh.

Day 08- Leh- Sarchu via Tanglang-La (4290m, 250 kms, 6-7 hrs).

Leave Leh by early morning and drive back to Sarchu. By same route over Tanglang-la 5332m, traverse the plateau of Kyangchu-Thang following the same road back. Traversing again the nomadic land of Chang-Thang (moor plain), Lachlung-la (5090m and Namkila 4950m till Sarchu. Night in fix camp.

Day 09- Sarchu- Manali 230 kms, 4-5 hrs.

Early morning drive back to Manali over Baralachala (4800m) Lahoul valley to Rohtang pass (3950m). Continue downhill journey through pasture of wild flowers, cascading water fall, forest of silver Fir, Oak and pine accompany you till Manali. Night in hotel.

Day 10- Free Day & Drop at Manali Bus stand

After breakfast checkout from hotel by 12 noon. Time for shopping and leisure at Manali on your own. Evening drop at bust station for your onward journey.

The company reserves the right to use alternate transport, or vary the itinerary if breakdown, sickness or any other force major. Any additional that result, such as extra hotel accommodation, flight or road transport will be on your charge and must be paid directly at the spot.


    Please understand, there are certain hazards involved in your adventurous and culture holidays which you must accept at your own risk. The company will not be liable for any illness major or minor injury, death sustained during neither the trip, nor it will be liable for any uninsured losses of your property and other losses during the trip.

    This is mandatory for all clients travelling on any tour/ trek or independent itinerary arranged by us. You are responsible for obtaining adequate insurance covering expenses of unexpected as mentioned in liability paragraph. The loss of baggage, medical expenses, helicopter (air or ground) rescue, injury, death, repatriation, cancellation and curtailment of the itinerary.


    *It is strongly advised that clients take out insurance to cover the unexpected and cancellation charges.

    No refund will be made for any unused services included in the tour / trek cost. No refund will be payable to any client who voluntarily or obliged to leaves a trip enroute, clients are responsible to bare their own expenses, expenses of such as escort, transport, hotels and other related services occurred due to such circumstances.

    40% of total programme cost should be deposited in advance for booking.


    Balance payment should be made at least 7 days before the tour begins.


    The amount paid once is not-transferable to any other programme/tour or to any other individual(s)/group or for any other service.


    No refund shall be made if participant(s) drop/terminate from program at any point due to any reason.


     One has to take care of his/her individual luggage.


    The organisers or any individual connected with the tour shall not be held responsible of any accident or any unforeseen natural calamity.


    Bank charges has to be paid by the Client.
