Ladakh: Roof of the world, Once a milestone for the caravan of silk route, located between Karakoram and Himalayas ranges , Leh is the main town where you'll lend by flight after flying over Himalayas, the Indus River flows through the valley , its barren landscape spotted by the oases, Here Chhortens ( stupas) contain the lyrics of sacred books which protect the villages from the evil spirits , In the monasteries the monks chant the mantra for the peace of the world and Peoples living here are cheerful and hospitable. Day 1: Arrive Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi –Leh: (3500 m) by Flight

Day 3: Leh-Hemis -Thak-Thok-Chemere –Leh

Day 4: Leh - Shey-Thiksey-Choglamsar 30 kms (both way)

Day 5: Leh to Stok and Spituk, 30 kms (both way)

Day 6: Leh - Lamayuru via Likkir, Basgo (3450 m), 135 kms.

Day 7: Lamayuru - Alchi,-55 kms. Stroll in the village

Day 1: Arrive Delhi.

Arrive Delhi, reception at airport, transfer and night in hotel.

Day 2: Delhi –Leh : (3500 m) by Flight

Transfer to domestic airport to take the flight to Leh over majestic Himalaya , you will be lending on 3500 mtrs , On arrival in Leh airport our colleague will transfer you to hotel , to be better acclimatise you will relax till mid-day, after lunch in hotel , leave for excursion, Drive to Shankar Gompa , Back by foot on your rhythm between the farms and villages , visit Shanti Stupa, Royal Palace built by 5th Dalailama in 17th century is look like little Potala of Lahasa , stroll in the Bazzar and , night in hotel.

Day 3: Leh-Hemis -Thak-Thok-Chemere –Leh.

Leave early to visit the Hemis monastery, a mass of splendid architecture on a green hill has been built by the inveterate royal architect Singe Namgyal in1630. The monastery belongs to Drukpa sect of Buddhism, site is privileged for Namgyal dynasty, and its mural painting represent the different divinities dated back to 18th sanctuary. There is a huge Thanka reputed to be the Largest in existence which is exhibited once in every twelve years. Takthok belongs to the Nying-ma –pa order is the residence of about 55 lamas.  Inside the monastery is the images of Padma Sambhava and Avalokitesvara, The wall decorated with the mural of Padmasambhava and painting of Sakyamuni and also house the statue of Mattrya or future Buddha or Buddha of compassion. Chemrey Gompa, built in 17th century by Lama Tagsang Raschen and belongs to the Drugpa Order, approximately 20 monks and also their young apprentice’s lives here. Monastery was initially built to serve as a memorial to King Sengge Namgyal. Its attraction is one-story high image of Padmasambhava and precious collection of scriptures.

Day 4: Leh - Shey-Thiksey-Choglamsar 30 kms (both way)

Leave early to attend the morning ceremony in the monastery of Thiksey, A majestic monastery perched on a rocky outcrop built in the 15th century during the first wave of expansion of Gelugpa sect in Ladakh. In the entry there are painting of protective deities and the great masters of the sect. Then drive to Shey, once the capital of Upper Ladakh before being supplanted by Leh, monastery housed rich murals painting ,well restored and represent the 18 arhats (disciples of Buddha who attained enlightenment), Back to Choglamsar for Lunch in Tibetan restaurant, later visit Tibetan refugee camp, evening back to Leh.

Day 5: Leh to Stok and Spituk, 30 kms ( both way)

Early breakfast , than leave to Stock to get the better sun rise light for photo- graphy .Visit Palace and village , Museum in palace house valuable antic objects, We will stroll from the village to village to meet the people and to see their daily activities, one can enter in a family house to have a cup of tea and discuss their mode of life .Back to Leh for Luch, Afternoon leave to visit the Spituk village, visit its monastery and stroll in village, night in hotel at Leh.

Day 6: Leh - Lamayuru via Likkir, Basgo (3450 m), 135 kms.

Leave to Likkir in the direction to west of Leh following the Indus valley , Here you will visit majestic monastery of 7th century of Gylukpa sect ( Red hat ) next is ruin of Basgo palace and its famous stucco temple. Now take road to Lamayuru, one of the ancient monastery magnificently perched on the hill. Before budhisme penetrated in the region this site was known as a centre for Bon religion. Stroll around the monastery campus and admire the stunning beauty of landscape, night in simple hotel.

Day 7: Lamayuru - Alchi,-55 kms.

Stroll in the village One can again attend the morning puja in the monastery , After breakfast short drive till Alchi , visit Monastery , Among the many temples, caves and stupas built in Ladakh Alchi choskor is the largest and most famous of all of them, built by Rinchen Zangpo ablout 990 years ago. Monastery house valuable mural painting and Thankas. Night in hotel or huest house.

Day 8: Alchi-Temisgam-Tia, Alchi

We leave with Pack lunch to Temisgam, a small hidden oasis located in the heart of grand and mineral landscape known for the production of ales and apricot Visit PAlas built in 1460, next step to the monastery of Temisgam, Monastery house magnifique freco et statues, Now walk in the village of Tia, visit Nunnery to discover the life of women in the isolated monastery. Back to Alchi for overnight stay.

Day 9: Alchi to Leh via Rizong and Phyang , 71 km.

Leave to Leh, on the way visit Rizong and Phyang monastery. Rizong: A beautiful monastery built in 1840 by the Lama Tsultrim nyma who wished to restore an orthodox Lamaism that the monk still practice. The monastery is totally isolated, no village having been established in this barren area. At the entrance ceiling decorated with beautiful Manadala. Numerous Thankas, representing for most part Budha or Tsonghapa, with the thousand Budhas. Together with the library complete the traditional contents of his dukhang PHYANG MONASTERY: The monastery was founded 446 years ago (reckoning from 1977). Called Tashi Chozang, there are sacred shrines and various wall paintings are to be seen which date back from the royal period. The protected deity of the monastery is Apchi Choski Dolma. Stroll in village and further drive to Leh, night in hotel.

Day 10: Leh- Delhi then drive to Agra 220 km, 3h30

Morning flight to Delhi, meet and greet at the airport where a driver will meet you to accompany to Agra. Visit Mahal, one of the most famous monuments of the world listed as 7thwonder of the world, built in the seventeenth century by the Emperor Shah Jahan as a token of eternal love. Agra is home to number of crafts man, known for Marble replica are best souvenir to take back to home among many other items as of leather and embroidery textile. Night in hotel.

Day 11: Agra-Delhi -220 kms. 4h

In Agra, morning you will visit the Red fort built in 16th century by red sand stone, once the capital of Mughal Empire, this fort was served as their résidence and set an exemple of historic blend of Hindu and Islamic style of architecture. Drive to Delhi. If time allows take glimpse on India gate and president house or spend some time to buy the souvenir. Night in hotel.

Day 12: Visit Delhi and Departure.

Morning visit to the street of old Delhi by Tricycle (Man drive rickshaw) Discover the spice market and colourful bazar, red fort and Grand Mosque (Jama Masjid) you can have lunch in Karim restaurant know of Mughlai specialities. After lunch visit Gurudwara Bangala sahib, a place of worship for Sikh community, is one of the most beautiful monument of the world in religious significance. Evening after dinner transfer to airport board your flight to your onward destination, Check out time 12 noon, baggage can be stored in the hotel. No hotel in Delhi.

    All the cancellation must be in written and signed by the person who signed the booking form and will be effective from the date of the reception by the company.

    1-2:60 days or more before departure: The agency will refund the entire paid amount to his client deducting the registration fee (€ 40 per persons or equivalent in other currency), bank charges subject to the bank policies, when booking domestic flights, the Cancellation fee subject to airline policies at present or if the tickets are non- refundable in that case the full amount of the ticket will be retained. The hotels are reserved and must be paid in advance; the company will apply the cancellation policies of hotels. Cancelation charge  for train tickets and other ground transport and related services if needed to be booked in advance. Hence the remaining amount will be refunded after deducting all above cancelation policies applied for different services.

    (1-3) Less than 30 days before departure: The agency will be obliged to withhold the full amount of the deposit paid by the customer. In this case, the customer must inform their insurance as soon as possible and provide as much documentation to support the cancellation of trip. It is therefore strongly advised to take out cancellation insurance to cover such expenses. 

    Itinerary / hotels are sub. to change in case of strike, civil war threatens, you may be will lose expected places you have prepared for but will explore unexpected and for sure will not disappointed.

    In case of Vehicle break down another mode of transport will be managed at the earliest possible, In that case you are requested to keep patience and co-operate with the situation, while travelling to rural and isolated area replacing vehicle can take time due to lac of communication or distance to pass the message with the other vehicle those who are driving toward the nearest town or the place from where one can have telephone facilities. Or from where one can be connected by Mobile phone. Also you can be transferred by the other type of vehicle what ever is available at the moment as of local bus till you will be not having the proper mode of transport.

    The Company cannot be made liable for the consequences of weather condition, flight cancellations, war or threat of civil war, strikes, industrial action, political unrest or any other force majeure, unusual or unforeseen circumstance. The company reserves the right to use alternate transport, or vary the itinerary if breakdown, sickness or any other force major. Any additional that result, such as extra hotel accommodation, flight or road transport will be on your charge and must be paid directly at the spot. 

    Please understand, there are certain hazards involved in your adventurous and culture holidays which you must accept at your own risk. The company will not be liable for any illness major or minor injury, death sustained during neither the trip, nor it will be liable for any uninsured losses of your property and other losses during the trip.

    It is strongly advised that clients take out insurance to cover the unexpected and cancellation charges:

    Accommodation is based on 3 star category in cities of Delhi- Leh or  Charming  hotels at Leh. Neat and clean local standards of hotels , Fixe camps or guest houses will be provided where choices are limited.

    Indian and partly Tibetan ( Ladakhi ) vegetarian meals is served, Non veg. is subject to availability in rural. Indian recipes are bit on spicy side, Breakfast and dinner will be served at the hotel, Lunch packed or in local restaurant or in hotel sub. to the schedule

    Sub to the number of person in group, for 2 to 4 Toyota Innova / Scorpia or Zylo, for 5 and more than 5 persons Tempo travelers or mini bus will be provided. All vehicle will be air-conditioned, except in hilly area air-condition of any vehicle can not be regularly used due to steep uphill drive, So you have to co-operate with. For the Autumns and spring season when temperature goes down, if you required heater except minibus each of those mentioned vehicle have the heating facilities and cannot be usd while uphill drive.

    5-1: Road: Road are good in Ladakh due to its dry climate except in case of unusual rain or high melting rates of glacier which can overflow the local rivulets and can cause the damage of road.

     You can be blocked for hours, you may miss the places expected to visit or will visit the unexpected places, to regulate the situation the team at the spot will do the best possible at the moment. Road in India are being widen at so many states, So please don’t compare the driving time as estimated in developed nation. 

    During the trip its possible that vehicle can get break down or road block can cause the delay, in that case guide on the spot will do the best possible to monitor the situation. In such circumstances patience and co-operation is required.
    You may have opportunities to walk to reach the visiting sites or simply to explore the villages to have interaction of locals.
    Preparation of relief of sun burn, Lip salve, Anti septic cream, Antihistamine cream (for relief of insect bites), Anti diarrhoea (flagyl or any other), Anti headache (aspirin, paracitamol, zimalgin), Anti vomiting (avomin), For stomach-ache (baralgan,trigan or other diagnose) Dettol, wash proof Dettol plaster, Bandage and cotton, Balm, Anti cramp spray, Pills to purify the water, Scissor and knife are must in the medical kit. According to your physical condition you are requested to consult your doctor to complete your medical kit.
    Due to wide range of temperature and climatic conditions between summer and autumn, it is advisable to bring appropriate clothing. For protection against cold and freshness of morning and evening a layered clothing is better than a few thick ones, so choose your cloths accordingly. Cloths should be preferable be made from natural materials which allow the body to breath better. You will be offending people if you walk around in skimpy or tight fitting clothes. Although there are normally opportunities to wear shorts, it is strictly forbidden to be with short in any religious places as monasteries and temples. We would advise women to wear shirts or loose trousers, men should not wear singlet.

    While travelling during summer  and Autumns season, at higher altitude morning and evening are fresh ( even cold while bad weather  and in Autumn ) hence required a Pull over, Raincoat ( occasionally required but pack it ) a polar jacket or waterproof jacket,( Type of Gore tax)  light clothing for lower altitude, Sun hat, short and long sleeves Shirts, Loose trousers, ( wearing short is not allowed at holy spot ) a pair of good shoes, sandal, few pairs of socks, Sunglasses / Spare glasses or contact lenses, , toilet kit, A small sewing kit, Safety pins, torch or flash light with spare batteries, Camera with spare cards and batteries, battery Charger, day sac, water bottle, personal medical kit as per your medical advisor. Anti-mosquitos spray. fanny pack to keep safely your important doc as passport, insurance paper, credit cards, money , Multifunctional knife, lighters, wooden pencils and pen, string of 4-55 meters to dry the clothing or other purpose,  English –Hindi dictionary to learn the important words to greet and to communicate with locals and a note book can be useful to engrave  your memory in it .
